  1. MC supports this event and a similar one mid-summer in Lake Tahoe. I believe it is or will be an annual thing. Golf world seems to be the right fit -- somewhat athletic, (assumingely) relatively wealthy, and a family sport for many...Hopefully it exposes those not familiar with all the "lake life" to all it has to offer for friends and family as well.. Also the MC exposure to celebrities is also something worth noting. Both events are celebrity golf events. :)
  2. @jercrane happy to help :) Send me a private message and I'll connect you with some people.
  3. So many memories with Dr. Jack and so many memories because of him... his influence, ideas and legacy. What an amazing community of friends and family that literally spreads around the world because of him. I'm also very grateful for the friendship of his kids and his grandkids. Sending my love and condolences your way.
  4. Hi @skispray I'm going to tag my husband, @Bojan to chime in on this. From what I know, is you can start any Method (1 or 2) every Monday depending on your needs and goals... I believe the off-season program was a lot of learning the movements and building strength and in-season is more about maintaining mobility and balance in your body... but again...He's the one to ask :) Thanks for the tag @DavidN
  5. @OscawanaSkier and anyone else interested in trying a workout for free before committing to 12 weeks. Sign up here
  6. @skihart @Connelly_Skis_Inc does offer an "unofficial demo" program.... You didn't hear it from me buttttt I believe it is something like: $550 ($500 ski / $50 shipping) to demo GT-R. If you like it and want to purchase it you pay the difference. If you want to return it, Connelly will send you a call tag and refund the $500 once they get the ski. $350 ($300 ski / $50 shipping) for Carbon V.
  7. @OscawanaSkier funny you should ask. I believe he made a demo work out for this purpose. Let me ask him and get the link for you. One second :)
  8. Hi @kc here is a diagram from @Connelly_Skis_Inc with the base factory settings... @Martin will likely have additional input :)
  9. Grip in this context, I believe, is referring to its ability to grab and hold angle ... the dichotomy here is that typically you wouldn't describe a ski that rides deep and grabs a lot of angle as fast -- but in the case of the GT-R you get the best of both worlds...both grippy angle but still get the speed out of the turn and into the wakes. I hope this makes sense and I'm not just reiterating the slogan lol
  10. @Skoot1123 Bojan switched the program to allow for people to sign up and begin the program every Monday from now until Dec. 31st. So if you sign up during the week, your 12 week program will start the following Monday. There were a lot of people still "in season" and traveling for a few events so we hope to accommodate a larger group of people interested in this training by opening it up for a bit.
  11. @ToddF it is $200 for 12 weeks (so $16.66 / week) It works out to $5.56 or so per workout. Essentially you will get an email when the program is ready that day (usually at midnight for the early risers) it gives you an overview of what the workout will be, then you login and can review the videos, descriptions, full program, etc. Ultimately, Method is about gaining mobility and strength in the off season and addresses issues most waterskiers are plagued with ...such as weak cores or tight / shifted hips. It also serves as the foundation for the inevitable pre-season 12 week program and an in-season 12 week program should people want to continue with Method. It's not a substitution for a physical therapist if you have a legit injury nor is it better than real-life one-on-one training. However, @Stevie Boy a lot of people cannot justify $85/session for a personal trainer and don't have the core / mobility savvy you have... so this is a way to have a thoughtful program as a roadmap for you in the gym this off season without breaking the bank. You can ask questions and get guidance as needed. I like the fact that people can sign up together to hold each other accountable across the world... While you do the work out by yourself, you are also doing the same program as others and that's kind of fun. My parents are doing it in CA while I do it in FL so we can compare our progress / weaknesses and hold each other accountable. And @Horton too.. I'm holding you accountable :) Lastly, I just have to say this.. Because I can't help myself... Neilly Ross is great.
  12. @Chef23 the programs are also accessible through a website URL as well if you want to view on your computer or iPad, etc., you don't have to use the app. :)
  13. @Chef23 unfortunately we don't have video prior to the pull out, however we will keep that in mind as we shoot more this fall and spring with the other athletes :)
  14. WHOOPS! Check out www.radixfit.com/method The page is now live. Critical information missing from the announcement. What a newb... I wonder who does Bojan's marketing...ugh. That's what I get for trying to help out while on vacation :) @braindamage @Skoot1123
  15. I just skied on the V yesterday for the first time and I can honestly say I was shocked at how good it was. Like it's really good. @Horton or @Connelly_Skis_Inc can elaborate more but I think it is a great ski for 34 mph and below. I only did 22 and 28s on it and but felt super stable and was fun.
  16. @Bill22 there will be a full size run at Coble's for demos as soon as they can get them out there. :)
  17. @jjackkrash ... I'm sure @Connelly_Skis_Inc would be happy to help you out in some way. Can you DM me your email?
  18. @Connelly_Skis_Inc or @JoelHowley you want to take this one? :)
  19. I love the fact that these girls are driving each other, coaching each other and skiing themselves while clearly having fun and still absolutely ripping on the course. I think it's a great example for both young girls and new women to the sport that they've got this! Also, I'm a little biased but I think that @elliehorton is pretty awesome as well.
  20. Hey @Orlando76 I sent you an email back this morning regarding the Carbon V and GT. They'll be ready with your name on it tomorrow :)
  21. @ntx Speaking of showing respect -- it's easy to make assumptions when you only have half of the information ... Give the girl a break. This sport, particularly for women, isn't lucrative by any means. Performance of the ski, and support from the brand you have a relationship with, is everything.
