  1. @jcowan35 here in the west, always have just taken off the buoys, 10 plus years no issues...
  2. and in their case a lack of it at the moment...starting up is stressful and hard finicially...I would assume Andy is well enough covered but it would be a tougher on Adam if he was an actual "partner"...
  3. What's up with AM skis? Adam Cord left?
  4. @OB @jdarwin ...this is a system a guy developed here based on time, uses a card system and has drastically cut down the hours on the boat and the issue with a large lump sum payment griping... http://www.shalompark.com/passtime.htm
  5. @tfriess at 15 and tall and lengthy you probably need to work on balance, indo board and Yoga stick to the basics for weights, squats, bench press and deadlifts, these three will do more for your "core" than the 1000's of dumb exercises created for this trending phrase. For the winter stay in a 3-5 set 6-8 rep range, strength is something to build on in winter, and your not going to get bulky in that rep range, other exercises in the 3 set/15-20 rep range can be added to make a solid 3 day a week workout... Cardio, you probably don't need it too much for actual weight loss but running is the ticket, makes you tough, there is no better cardio workout...for you, do H.I.I.T. with your running, more representative for skiing applications... AND EAT CLEAN...all the working out in the world isn't going to do squat if you do not fuel properly... Can be more informative and detailed if you need in regards to workout and diet, just send me a PM if interested...
  6. @SkiJay ...so done with the Elite, I love it when I ski sound but it beats me up when I'm off...went to a 67" fusion, doesn't have the massive excelleration of the Elite but creates extremely good angle and builds towards the wake, it's speed is decieving, so predictable, consistent turns both sides, stable, I haven't been this stoked about a ski in quite a while!!! P.S. don't tell Coach about it though : ) I like the looks on his face when I show up with something different to ski on...
  7. Buy a Fusion...Elite is awesome is you ski mechanically perfect everytime...9800 is more forgiving than Elite, but the Fusion is so underrated, ski is pretty freakin awesome...
  8. Billabong Solution SGX202, got it @ Perf, long sleeve shorty, top (neck area) entry w/horizontal front zip, without a doubt the best shorty I have ever owned, next to no water gets in and is super warm! All seams are welded and sealed, zipper lets negligable water in as it is actually mid chest so there is neoprene behind it up to collarbone area...
  9. Maybe I'm a big softy but take it easy on the guy...you guys are kind of harsh on Taelan...Maybe he actually UNDERSTANDS the concepts and requirements, he's not saying he can replicate them...
  10. the flaw in the theory of "maximum pressure" is the factor of a skiers strength, the inconsistency of strength from skier to skier makes this unrealistic... what would be great is a numerical value relating to optimal "pressure" coinciding with the optimal point between buoy A to B before transition to determine the peak result of width, carryout and speed... our sport is soooo behind using technology to map and chart data for peak performance and results
  11. Well for my first time on a D3 the Fusion is a pretty awesome stick...
  12. @skidawg thanks, I'll give that a go, talked to Paul too and he said not so deep also, maybe bindings back a bit

  18. @RLW yes I have released, but never pre released...
  19. fast is merely a perception of a singular individual...speed is everyones friend in the slalom course, proper utilization of it is the key...
