  1. Which tranny is in the CP? The one I have skied behind here clunks when it shifts. Tim
  2. Maybe you should talk to the person at this link: http://www.ballofspray.com/forum#/discussion/10736/replace-engine-2002-sn-196-advice
  3. Shafer, Do a search for precast concrete. Railroad ties are probably not a good idea since there could possibly be epa complications in the future.
  4. Beach Attendant and lawn mowing guy on weekdays. Skied in traveling waterski show to different cities on weekends. Good times.
  5. You might find somebody with an inboard to get them going first. The size of the wake really does not matter if they are staying inside of it. The importance of the inboard is a nice steady pull as they are getting up.
  6. Kelvin, I'll have to find out. Do people really sit at their computers for 10+ hours and watch? I have watched a couple of webcast tournaments and I typically watch for an hour or so total. Tim
  7. Hey Ballers, I'm working for a startup in Cleveland that has been doing live video streaming for about five years now. I plan on sending our new piece of hardware to Horton in about a month when it is complete for an "unboxing". Anyway, we currently have a small piece of hardware that is basically plug and play. Simplicity at it's best. The hardware takes your HDMI or Composite Video and audio and encodes it and streams it to our servers. Plug in your camera feed and ethernet and it is done. 1080P. Viewers can select the quality they want. We do the following: 1. Effortless Broacasting 2. Archiving for later viewing. 3. No advertising. 4. You can choose to sell tickets to your event or host it for free. 5. Embed into any web page with one line of code. $75 gets the box and 100 viewer hours. www.boxcast.com message me if your interested. Would love to get some more skiing out their via webcast. Tim
  8. @klindy‌ No. Trying to stay away from USAws. Tim
  9. Folks, Our club leases our lake from an entity. We need to get insurance for the club to lease the premises. Does anybody have any insurance agents that you could send to me for this insurance. Thanks, Tim
  10. Please take the time to heal. You need to make it as strong as possible. I have had severe shoulder dislocation problems. I have to work pretty hard at keeping strong. One of the books I have about shoulders has a chart in it. As you get beyond your first dislocation, the chances of it happening again go up and up. Get ahead while you can. Tim
  11. Fatroll, Where are you at? How much ice is left? I'm in Ohio also.
  12. Took a quick run here in Ohio @ Chippewa Lake on Wednesday.
  13. My wife's SUV has 340 hours and 11k Miles on it. FYI.
  14. The long bungees made it almost impossible to run over the ball with a boat. The bouy just moves out of the way. We have everything going through trying to destroy our course. Jetskis, tubes and super wide deck and wakeboard boats. Tim
  15. We went to 3/8 od 1/8 wall surgical tube this year on our public course from the pvc to ball. Our course is public. The amount of balls that we lost went down considerably. Each one was measured out so it all stretches the same.
  16. Gas is the cheapest thing I spend on skiing.
  17. I run a club that maintains a course on a public lake. It would be tough for me to have insurance on it without USAWS. We used to have a ski night as part of the club on the public lake but the burden of complying with all of the rules to have insurance for it made us decide to cancel. On the private lake we ski at the insurance specifically states that we are not covered for tournaments or events. We are considering having some type of organized ski night there and possibly a tournament but I'm not sure if it will happen. I really enjoy teaching people how to ski in every discipline but the insurance and rating requirements is a major hangup. Its much easier for me to maintain my pilot's license than it is to maintain the USAws ratings. Thanks, Tim
  18. In Ohio the ODNR has jurisdiction over all water. If you have an accident they can cite you. Its even against the law to have a ski jump in Ohio. I know this because I witnessed a serious skiing accident that was almost fatal at a private lake. I was grilled by the dnr for 2 hours during a post accident interview. I'm a fan of contingency plans and three people skiing together when possible. Tim
  19. I think my friend greg is probably in your lake today digging test holes.
  20. Curious why it is the standard to not use a vest while tricking? I used to wakeboard quite a bit. I can remember hitting hard enough to not know which way was up.....my vest lead the way.
  21. Barefooting is so much easier on the body than slalom skiing.
  22. One pretty good OTF after a test of holding more angle to the ball. Another crash after the ball and slide into and jump the wake....lightly bruised ribs.
  23. @skoot1123- Your making this much harder than it is. When they dig the lake they will most likely lay this out via GPS coords. Once that is done they can just lay the course into the file for you. After that you can use the gps to pull your points on the lake bottom and get the course in. Its pretty easy to do when there is no water in your lake. If you need a contact to talk to about this, please drop me a message offline. Tim
