  1. I have all of the OS systems glue & tools to repair suits. The glue is very similar to Pliobond 20. You might try to use it to fix your suit. You can cut Pliobond 20 with MEK, same as the real drysuit glue. The seals on a normal suit are not to hard to replace. The barefoot international seals are a PITA though. Send those suits back to the manufacturer. You can get it here: http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/cspages/pliobond.php Tim
  2. Pulled the balls off of our course last night. Pulling the dock and lift out on Sunday. Its been a good summer.
  3. Takes lots of perseverance to get through the course.....
  4. Seems that people who have the drive to make it through a slalom course also share that in their professional life. I find it interesting that the people who I introduce to the course who get hooked are also very successful in their professional life. Thoughts?
  5. I ski on a sixam 1.1. No ventral. Working on 22 off @ 34. I can run 32 mph pretty consistent on my ski. My fin is set up all stock. Today I didn't have my gear with my so I rode a friends 1.0. I went out the front twice @ #1 ball. He has the ventral on his ski but I'm not sure how the fin is set up. So.. What is different between the build of the two skis and what is could be different to make me go out the front so easy. Thanks Tim
  6. I broke a SL handle this spring, I doubt it was a manufacturing defect though. Still going to the chiro here and there for it. When it broke it was no big deal. The next morning I woke up and it felt like I got hit by a train. My whole upper body was frozen.
  7. How do you get the beanie to stay on during skiing?

  9. I'm bald.... I wear this one as soon as the temps start to drop. Works great, no loss of balance. http://www.nrsweb.com/shop/product.asp?pfid=2025 I also have the one that I wear under my Gath helmet: http://www.nrsweb.com/shop/product.asp?pfid=2026
  10. We have a floating course and let it sink. We mark the ends with GPS. In the spring we use a long painters pole with a hook on it to find the mainline. Our 55's are anchored with a pipe in between them with subs. We pull the balls off of those also. A 30' 1/8" cable between two kayaks finds the 55's pretty quick. Tim
  11. Neoprene. You can get it @ mcmaster carr www.mcmaster.com

  13. Tested the 4W version this evening. Got about 1500' out of them. A bit more testing tommorow. Hardest thing is finding a good camera with analog (LIVE) out. Any advice? Tim
  14. Anybody have any advice on how to do instant replay? Analog Signal. I had a computer many moons ago that had an ATI all in wonder card that I could pipe the video in and do this. I can't find anything similar today. Advice?? Thanks Tim
  15. Where are you talking about? I have a combination of a permanent course and floating course on our lake. The floating course gets pretty beat up. I ended up putting surgical tube from the PVC to the balls and it has helped. All balls are filled with water. Have only had to fix 2 balls on the permanent gate. Get in touch with Greg Lanich for questions with getting the ODNR stuff through. I have drawings on cad of permanent course anchors for your permit. My good friend who is an excavator has helped us with setting the course up, GPS guidance to within 1/4". Drop me a line with any questions. I personally would not drive any rebar into your river/lake. If it gets pulled out of the ground partially, it could impale a boat or person. I have 4" steel pipe in between our gates, it has not moved. Tim Cochrane tim.cochrane@gmail.com Chippewa Lake Waterski Club
