  1. I originally thought way too high. I personally still think way too high. However, to the right buyer it’s probably worth it.  If it’s what a buyer is specifically looking for than it very well could be worth that. Lots and lots of extras there in the price as well.

I tend to buy very nice, well kept, older items as I can’t justify new prices.  I have a 1999 GMC K2500 that I was offered 12.5K for. I’d love to jump on that as I only paid 13K for it 17 years ago, but I truly believe I can’t find a better truck out there (for my wants/needs) for that same money.  So no deal.

I think I could find a better boat (for my wants/needs) for 28K, but that might not hold true for someone else.

My prostar is the first build allocation my dealership has received in 3 years.

Is that because nobody bought a Prostar from your dealer, or they tried and couldn’t even get a build allocation?

  3. Has anyone tried this fuel sending unit?  Seems like a great solution for my 2006 RLXi with the dreaded "reading empty with 15 gallons of fuel left" issue.  I like the adjustability of the sending unit.  Instructions say it won't work with ohm only input gauges, but I'm not exactly sure what that means.  It's supposedly a universal replacement for any 33-240 ohm sending units.

  4. Not that it really matters, but I highly doubt this boat was brought back by Sanger to try to get a slalom skier to buy a new boat.  It was for the footin' crowd, and I wouldn't doubt if they had pre-orders/deposits on a set number of boats before they decided to do it.  Nothing to back that up, just a guess.

  5. @mlangeWe ski all the time in rec mode because of the current on the river.  Supposedly, you select your ABC setting, then go into rec mode and it'll retain that setting until it's switched again.  No noticeable difference in pull I can tell.  The newer, integrated ZO screen on the Malibus we ski offer "training mode" instead of rec mode, and speeds are adjustable in 0.1 mph increments and ABC settings can be changed like normal.

I can tell you almost definitively, it was not the course. the rest of the course did not move. I find it hard to believe a bouy caught in the driveline would cause the bow to dive. Looks like the reverse is the most likely explanation.

I agree it was not the course, and likely slamming into reverse. But with individual anchors the rest of the course isn’t going to move anyway.

  7. My son has been trying to get his team registered for quite some time. Never has been able to do it. AWSA hasn’t responded to his emails either. He’s at a tournament this weekend, so hopefully they don’t line up and get told it’s a no go because they aren’t registered. I’m sure that won’t be the case, but I could see something like that happening.

  8. I found a new 3.5" PP display for the 6.5ng software on Ebay...not sure if you are adding to a digital pro system or not.  If it's already a StarGazer system, PP does sell those new in 3.5"

  9. Do you happen to have a lawn tractor?  Front hitches on those move our size of boats very well.   Not a good pic…that’s a John Deere X748, but I’ve moved the boat with much less tractor over the years.image.png

  10. I was given a free Insta slalom course with a current adapter. I have installed a portable slalom course in the past, so I don’t have any issue with the mainline and associated parts. I don’t know how the current adapter works and I can’t seem to find anything online. Does anyone have experience with that set up?  It’s a separate line and it clips to the pvc just before the turn buoy, but I don’t know how it attaches back to the mainline or where. I could have pieces missing, too.

  11. @ALPJr I have that vest, as well as my son.  I really like it for slalom.  However, I trick ski a lot and the stupid flotation panels get all turned around and twisted when I fall...which is a bunch.  It's very frustrating and have stopped using it for the most part.  My son is now tricking, and when he got in the boat last night we had a good laugh as 6-7 of his flotation panels were all jacked up from his numerous falls.
