  1. Just updated my numbers to the stock numbers on the website which is different from the original numbers given to me last August. These feel much better. Stock numbers: 67" 29.75 6.940 (tips) 2.470 .745 Wing 7.5 (this made a big difference)
  2. Sam has been loving the Ion in practice. She has been running 39 on a fairly regular basis. Very happy for her to do it in a tournament. She will be one to watch as the season finally gets under way.
  3. I would more than likely kick you with my right foot, but I'm left foot forward. Not exactly a world beater though so take it for what it is
  4. @david_quail Hydraulic lifts have a bunch of headaches also. they are fast and efficient but a pain in the ass and expensive when something goes wrong - especially when it is in the water already.
  5. Weather dependent out here in the Northeast, but June is the start of the better weather.
  6. The yellows are 2015. I'm on my third pair of those. I have mediums but have worn large in all other gloves. They run large
  7. The last part you mentioned - the survey part - was very interesting. It would make finding the sub buoys in the spring a ton easier.
  8. Coble Ski School in North Carolina is probably the closest
  9. I do exactly what @klindy does. Not as consistant as 55s, but it works if you don't have them.
  10. Bigger question is Are you at a restaurant bar? Can't wait to go do that. As simple as it sounds
  11. Correction on Avon. I just realized I mixed up the numbers - Its 1640ish long I believe not 1460ish.
  12. Avon Old Farms , Avon, CT (site of last years and hopefully this years Eastern Regionals) have operated a 3 event site for many years. It is 1462' long. After last years regionals they changed the standard 6 buoy course to a 8 buoy overlaping course. When I skied it last it screwed with me because I had so much room before the course. Thankfully it wasn't a tournament.
  13. @rak PCM changed their recommendations last year to 5w/30 full synthetic
  14. I just ordered the new HO wetsuit. Stokes was out of my size. Thanks for all the input.
  15. @Horton I have the EVO Vest and love it. I was just concerned that the 3/4 leg may not be warm enough. I will give them a call.
  16. Looking to get a new wetsuit. I have a Blacktec that is getting old. Wondering if the Stokes Pro 2MM with the 3/4 legs are a warm enough option for this time of year (New England weater - air 55 water 50)? Or should I just get another Blacktec? Or does anyone have another option (i.e. the new HO wetsuit)?
  17. Funny how Chris mentioned running 35 for the first time. The first time I ran it in a tournament was in Vermont after talking to Chris during a rain delay. Told me to get wider on my gate (up on the boat) - I ran it the next round. That was many years ago now but never forgot it. Thanks @Chris Rossi
  18. @Horton you have no idea what I went through to make that ski work. I know a lot of people loved it, but it didn't work for me. It was a very frustrating time tweaking that ski. Spent some quality time on the phone with Dave trying to get it to work for me.
  19. @Chef23 I was not a fan of the N1 either. I found it to be a lot of work.
  20. Lets see .. I broke a 9800, a 9900 and another 9900. That being said I loved the 9900
  21. @hammerski I received the same fix from Boatmate except for the bunk change. My boat is a 18 200 so it is bunked differently. The one thing I had to do was take the fix to a local welder and cut the ends off and weld it directly. The clearance for the tracking fins were not enough and it chipped the front fin. After welding it no problem. This was done at the end of the season so I’m anxious to see if this will be the long term fix for sure.
  22. I am a last responder (funeral director). While we haven't yet experienced a great deal of extra work from this - we have to continue with doing what we do as best as we can at this time which is difficult. So my source of income should not be affected as far as I can tell. Just hoping that we don't experience what some of my colleagues are in places like New York.
  23. I had to gas up my truck after a road trip with my boat last year. I pulled up to the pump noting that I'm going to have to back up when leaving so I don't catch the side flare of my trailer on the metal/concrete U pump protector. Nope forgot. @Mick04 just laughed at me.
