  1. only three women have officially turned 2 @ 41
  2. Rossi mentioned something in his podcast about roundabout settings that he goes to when starting off with a new ski
  3. The owner probably didn't know what that black pole was for in front of the motor cover.
  4. I think @Horton mentioned it before - if you are skiing a lot(5-7 days a week) - new handle and rope at least once a year. I ski 3-4 days a week and I switch handle and rope every 2 years (sometimes sooner). Your elbows alone will thank you.
  5. I've replaced the core and it is a $100.00/ten minute fix. Nautique Parts.com
  6. I had a CG fin earlier this season and went back to the stock fin. It just seam to work better for the ski.
  7. I always loved the scenery of Spencer's Pond in Owego, NY
  8. Also check closer to the engine dog house. I think the heater it self may be on the drivers side of the boat towards the back of the boat
  9. I would go on the Planet Nautique forum. They would have more people familiar with that boat
  10. I think they may be referring to front foot pressure going into your offside turn.
  11. @skibug I can’t speak for the whisper fin but I had a CG fin on mine and went back to the stock fin pretty quickly. I suppose I could have got it to work but I’m not a tweaker.
  12. I have a Mapple 6.0 that is still usable. I was on the T3 circa 2017. Not as consistent on it. I think the toque box was my issue. This makes me wonder if the torque box was the culprit here in the break especially where it’s located.
  13. I've seen sliding toe pieces from other manufacturers. I think Cypress Gardens had a similar adjustment at one time. But the heel piece being adjustable is the most common.
  14. That is there for exactly what @ski6jones said. I have a fixed Mr M binding on mine and it does not have that (because it is not adjustable. All of the adjustable bindings on Maha's that I have seen had that stop screw
  15. This how I had my boat shipped a couple of years ago. A factory transfer cover which is a hybrid shrink wrap cover with ties and a felt liner. Dealer put it on for about $400. The main reason I did this was because I wasn’t trailering it myself. If I was trailering it I would not have put any cover on.
  16. I'm a hardshell guy, but that doesn't mean you will be. It's definitely a personal feel. Some of the best skiers in the world are on rubber bindings and some are not. Nate- rubber. Freddy- hardshells
  17. If your boot is getting soft or old it will affect your performance. For what it cost and the safety factor of a newer boot you would be crazy not to get a new boot. No one is saying to change the boot style - if you can get the same one but newer - no question just get it.
  18. Very happy for Sam. She has been working hard to get to this point. Too bad it’s coming together this year with limited tournaments

    Exhaust/Riser

Maybe a little off topic - but my buddy has a 98 Sport Nautique that I swear is getting louder. It use to be fairly quite, now it howls as if something may be wrong with the muffler. I can hear it from across the lake and without looking know he is out there. Unfortunately mostly pulling tubers.
  20. @BCM the stock number for the wing is 7.5 at 34. I also had it at 7 and it made a huge difference when I put it at 7.5
  21. We have 55s we put in and out each time we ski. Small public lake and the 55s makes the course so much longer. So we don’t leave them in so we don’t piss off the neighbors. We find the sub buoys by lining up with the left hand guide buoys and two fixed points on shore. When the fixed points on shore line up we dive in. Works great.
  22. I have my older brother's Maha of the same vintage hanging in my basement. Pretty much the same sentiment. I remember him getting the ski and thinking it was the coolest looking ski ever. He hasn't skied in years and he wanted out of his closet. Not as touching of a story, because it was more about the ski than him.
  23. The only reason I switched to a bent handle was because of elbow problems. No difference as far as the stack
  24. @"Keith Menard" That is South Pond in Brookfield. Ski it about a half dozen times a year. Great site for a public lake. If the wind is not blowing and it is quiet out there it is a fantastic set up. The main reason Ed set it up like that is the water level there can fluctuate almost 3' feet. This way the buoy would always float at the correct level without having to dive in and adjust it by hand. The funny thing is Tony paid Ed a pretty penny to install it, but I have skied it more than Tony ever did.
