I found that the 2017 Radar Senate is easier to get up on than the 2015. Maybe because the tail is square instead of rounded, or other factors that put more surface area on the tail of the ski. Those are just guesses, but I was pleasantly surprised. Also went from the Alloy to the Graphite. Everything about the newer ski was better. It was faster, lighter, more controllable, more forgiving, and easier to get up on. I tend to push with both feet to get up, so more surface to the rear helps me. I wonder if you put your boot a notch forward if that would help for the same reason.
