How many of you folks riding a Goode Nano One uses the factory inserts to mount your bindings? Do they hold up as well as other ski company inserts that are laid up in the ski?

I am an S1 skier that loves the ski. Came off a blue/red SixAM and my feeling was how much more angle is achieved and how matched the turning (onside/offside) was on the S1. Only thing I think about the S1 is you can not force the ski around in late conditions (less slip) like I could on the SixAM. I am really curious to hear what specifically the others did not like about the S1? I also want to get on an S2 and compare the differences.

I'm sorry, but everytime I see one of those articles in WS mag on the subject, I have to laugh...wow guy's who spend 90 percent of the year in FL are showing technique on the snow....ha...ha. I grew up chattering the ice and breaking bamboo at Buck Hill in MN. Before you laugh, google Linsey Vaughn.....I personally think comparing the two is somewhat of a "I have nothing to write about in the off season" comparison.

I also received one for Christmas. Just used it for the first time last Sunday. I used the headband strap with a Key Float zip tied to it (it is enough to float it). Here is the YouTube link. I have also fabbed a metal plate to mount to my S1 EXO inserts and I stuck the UHB adhesive camera mount to it. The camera can then be clipped in facing fwd or aft (tilted up at the skier). One thing I am going to try is to put RainX on the case and also look into the moisture absorbing material inserts (since it is cold out here) to reduce the fogging in the case....but from a first use, pretty cool! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sSdcdlaQddlÂ
