    SUP

I purchased a SUP from costco last summer (online version). They are called SUPUSA for Costco, and made by SUPATX. I purchased the 11'6" version, and love how the board glides/tracks. I think it is quite a bit lighter than the Connelly or Radar versions due to less glass/resin in the buildup, but I would take lighter over strength personally. As far as an all around board for cruisin the lake or river, I am very happy with mine.
  3. What would be the difference between these (other than $$) ?- I would guess they are the exact same senders. nautiqueparts.com (11.5", $219.00) http://www.nautiqueparts.com/fuelsendingunitsncalibrated2002-2009115inch.aspx wemausa.com (11.5", $60.00) http://wemausa.3dcartstores.com/SSSSSL-Diesel-Fuel-or-Water-Level-Sensor-4--60-in_p_9.html
  4. @jetpilotg4 - pretty sure my is a mechanical issue with the float. I have an SE model (analog gauges - chosen for simplicity, and to avoid the things you describe) and do not have pitot tubes on mine. My gauge will work, and then it will stick on Empty. Sometimes it pops back and starts working again. Pretty sure the float gets hung up on the sender shaft.
  5. My gauge acts goofy on my '04 as well. I believe the float on the sending unit is sticking on the shaft. Is there a fix for that? What is up with the $200+ sender price? Special length for custom tank?
  6. Not just on Goode's....seems all Carbon skis have this issue, my last ski - an HO Syndicate did the same thing.
  7. Per Goode website, here are the sizes for the Rev6: Available sizes and recommended sizing: 64.25" - up to 120 lbs. 65.75" - 110 lbs. to 170 lbs. 66.5" - 130 lbs. to 190 lbs. 67.25" - 170 lbs. to 210 lbs. 68" - 200 lbs. and up. Can anyone sum up why to choose a 67.25" over a 68" or the other way around (other that the obvious weight numbers)?
  8. Masterline ropes and handles
  9. A guy at our ski lake uses one. We call him the marionette or ninja turtle - but he seem to like it. What suprised me was how heavy it is (the plastic back panel) - that thing weighs a ton, unlike most other Goode products.
  10. This is the guy - look under "Education": https://www.linkedin.com/in/markkovalcson
  11. If that was all the beer available at Rollins, I would not attend.
  12. Interesting discussion on the dynamics of water and skis, but as we move farther and farther from the thing that is actually attached to the ski (human), have we ever considered the effects of cold air/water on the human body, and thrown that into the equation? All I know is - I do not ski as good in the colder months because I'm simply cold! Hey, who has data on marathon running times from say, a 37 degree day vs. a 83 degree day? @eleeski - completely agree with your statement on .001" fin adjustment feeling/measuring.
  13. @Than_Bogan how would you compare and contrast this ski to the Nano One? What specific characteristic differences do you feel between the two? Is what you are feeling now on the Denali the 'honeymoon period' as @Horton says? You seemed pretty psyched in this video about the Nano too.....
  14. So who is pressing these skis for Raptor? Is it D3 or Radar?
  15. @OB1 did you ever ski on an XT? If so, would like to hear your thoughts about comparisons...
  16. Take a look at the Oneill Slasher - very light non-restrictive and very stretchy.
  17. Another option on amazon.com $11.00 http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=waterski+magazine
  18. @gregy he was coming around the ball and ended up OTF. Very nasty injury that took him out of waterskiing all together. After having broken an ankle myself (rubber bindings), I am leary of many binding designs. You need to decide what your comfort level is for safety and make your own decision. As @Jim Neely said - No binding is completely safe.
  19. Friend had compound fracture of lower leg. Personally, I would not touch them.
  20. Nice vid Marcus! "My body's jacked" - I feel that!
