  1. @Razorskier1 - At least you won't be missing any prime skiing conditions this week. I'll be polishing up the boat again and again this week nights after work in the garage in hopes of getting out next weekend http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn189/dtm8119/IMG_20140425_180926_zps6b3f8d85.jpg
  2. Looks like you'll be skiing this week!
  3. Thanks again guys, appreciate you taking the time to take a look and offer up suggestions and advice Can't wait to get back on the water again this year to work on getting better
  4. Thanks for the comments guys. The first thought that comes to my mind when watching that is "man...I look like I'm skiing lazy out there" Need to commit to the stack and staying on edge longer
  5. Did you install the skins yourself?
  6. Looks great. I've heard a lot of good things about his work
  7. Happy Monday everyone! Finally got around to uploading some footage from this past Summer. Just some free skiing on my lake...I usually ski 22 or 28 off. I don't spend much time at all in the course, but hope to change that this year with my portable. Feel free to critique away and post some advice if you'd like!
  8. @bananaron - I'll shoot you an email as well about that Lift Tech!
  9. @jpattigr - agreed...what happened to actually rating the wakes...giving 0-36mph times, etc! I notice the same things in snowmobile magazines that "review" the sleds. Nothing but good things to say about each model. The funny thing is that when the next year models come out, then they actually start stating things they didn't like about the past models and how the newest one fixed those issues
  10. @razorskier1 - she's a beaut Clark!
  11. guys...it can't be that tough, just try to duplicate this picture from @chrisrossi‌ and you're good! :) http://instagram.com/p/mDLcvVv16E/
  12. @xrated - just tell me a time and place and i'll be there.
  13. @MS - just see where you can rent one of these guys and in a day or two you'll be skiing
  14. @6balls - measured 24" yesterday ice fishing
  15. Great ideas guys...and yes I agree also that variety is key. Just wondered mostly what are your guys top 3 that really have an impact to getting into ski shape! Keep em' coming! Dan
  16. Was flying back home last night from a vacation starting to think about the upcoming ski season and had a thought... If you were going to do 3 exercises before your season started to get your body (hands, back, shoulders, etc...) ready, which would you do? What are your favorite, or best bang for the buck exercises you do before you get out for your first pull and then realize "crap...I should have done more!" For me, I'm thinking pull ups, lunges and squats What do you guys think?
  17. I do the same thing as @Moggie although I ski on public lakes usually, so after every turn around, I get my gloves wetter in the spray before beginning each pass
  18. @swc5150 - planning on it...not sure what day though, either Friday night or Saturday morning
  19. @MS - my wife used to be a bartender there on the weekends. Fun bar!!

  21. @oldjeep Nice work!! Post up some pictures of it once you get it! If you're ever looking for a 2nd or 3rd to get out skiing, let me know! I live/work in the SW twin cities area and am always looking to meet up with new skiing folks.
  22. This kind of describes what I mean better. If you're just buying the rope by itself w/out the handle, shouldn't it be 54' 10.5" long instead of 59' 10.5" since you would be adding a 5' section with the rope to make it a true 15' off of a 75' rope? Or am I missing something here?
  23. Another question regarding rope length...so this rope is 60 ft long (15 off). But when you add the handle section to it that is 5' long it becomes 65 ft long. So aren't you really technically skiing 10 ft off??
