  4. just read @hipsup and his comments, good stuff he says too, actually just read everyones and they have great suggestions!
  5. @crashman, you're not that far off, a lot of the things you do look okay. by seeing the video it looks as if you lead with your shoulders going cross course. it makes sense in our minds to drive toward the next bouy since that is the direction you are headed. I would like to see you use your shoulders to drive away from the boat. Think of your ski being the leverage point and your body driving away from that spot. By doing this you will actually give yourself more cross course speed and be in a more balance postion on your ski. Using your shoulders to drive cross course forces your hips behind so you feel balanced, if you think about being shoulders over hips, over feet and driving away you allow yourself to be taller and in more control of the moves you make.
  6. Thanks for the kind words @than! Glad you guys enjoy them. check out the article here... http://www.thewilsonbros.com/2012/05/making-moves.html

Just for donating you can get a sick signed shot of Rossi shredding and you can even win some awesome Doster art. 12. @davidp that could be fun. K.C. and I were talking about doing some more spinning action so maybe we'll have something new soon.
  13. we used the seatpost mount and put some extra rope in it as well, it's a little tricky and the camera tends to slide a bit. I will try to post a photo of it later but we dont have a handle set up like that right now
  14. @stevie boy what size ski are you on? Are you using a Radar universal plate? For the Strada boot I would just put the front on and butt the end of the tape measure to the back of the front boot right where the stitching is
  15. I'm interested to hear, what are some of the favorite ski lakes you guys have skied? post pictures too, let's see these beauties
  16. @jimbrake, well aren't you quite the innovator! how about you post some awesome video of you using the handle and then I'll definitely put my order in!
  17. glad you guys liked it! More on the way. @9400 Rossi definitely knows his stuff and I think it is a great analogy. Think about or actually get a fishing line and hold a side in each hand. If you pull your hands away from each other really fast it is going to pull back in but if you take that same line and pull your hands away progressively and not jerky it won't have that same rebound affect. interesting to think about for sure
  18. No 6 year old girl pulling people!! no offense to any 6 year old girls that frequent this forum
  19. I think there is a misconception of what light on the line actually means. It doesn't mean that you are "soft" or not pulling on the boat. The idea behind being light on the line is that you are not loading the rope in an immediate manner. Being "light" comes from building your speed progressively. You can pull as hard as you want but if you build all your speed in a gradual manner it is theoretically light on the line.
  20. @ktm300 I would recommend trying the 66" as well. Before you try that message me or post your fin and boot settings and I will give you some set up advice.
  21. that is the coolest cake I have ever seen!
  22. @mattp > Brooks purely because he makes awesome apps like ballofscores
  23. @MS horton told me I needed to start making fun of you when I post, that will never happen if you keep agreeing with what I tell people!
