  1. Just ordered a new X Series couple days ago! I dislocated my shoulder a couple weeks ago snow skiing when my binding blew out, so not sure when I'll get to try it out though. Definitely not healing as quickly at 55 compared to my mid 20s, which is the last time I dislocated it waterskiing.
  2. Drinking a Pina Colada at Trader Vic's
  3. 10 or 11, off the dock for ski club practice. I prefer to keep it to 8 or under due to wear and tear on the boat. Here are a couple examples. The partially built pyramid ended in a very big BOS a split second after the pic (no injuries). That's my fearless daughter on top in both.
  4. Beautiful spot. My folks moved to Logan around '92 when my mom retired. Brother still lives there. Logan's in Cache Valley, not up in the mountains, so snow will be gone just a touch sooner than the Cottonwood resorts!
  5. If it were anyone other than Regina, I'd agree with you!
  6. Check the Moomba Masters thread below.
  7. I've never seen a Quicksilver filter that wasn't shrink wrapped. Maybe somebody bought wrong size and returned it? Unless it looks dirty or banged up, I wouldn't worry about it.
  8. The new Adams' Eve of Destruction that Denali is starting to talk about.
  9. Mr. Smooth, always love watching CP.
  10. Original Andy Mapple Signature Siege. That ski was scary, and forced me to have better and stable body position.
  11. Good luck and have fun on that Omni, @Goosey! Also, at 47, you're considered a young bird here on BOS!
  12. @Mastercrafter it's all about the pursuit of truth, or balls, or swine, or something, idk.
  13. Looking at those slalom skiers in particular, it's vastly different.
  14. Solid pylons are the Correct design...
  15. Thanks @Clydesdale, I'm sure it did!
  16. Yikes, that looks scary! Who was skiing, and are they ok?
  17. Is that George Costanza modeling those gloves?
  18. it's that thing they do after a safety check!? seriously though, it when a skiers late coming into a ball with too much speed. After rounding the ball, to manage the slack they do an s turn maneuver and try to ski back through the boat guides to get credit for a full ball.
  19. @Paul235 no, they are designed to mount to your ski. In a fall, your foot (or feet) come out with the liner.
  20. @lhoover you misspelled stud...
  21. Thanks @slow. I think I have the thinner ones as well. I'll re-heat and try them inside the liner. If that doesn't work out, I might try to add some filler to the top inside shell to keep my foot better connected to the ski.
  22. @slow in the D3 NRG thread you mentioned adding Sole footbeds to fill volume in your new Vectors. I have the same issue and just put some into my new Vapors today. I'm assuming you put them directly on the binding footbed, underneath the Intuition liners rather than in the liners. When I skied with them today, I was having a heckuva time, thinking I just need to adapt to be slight raised up above my ski. My feet also started cramping after a few minutes. I probably just need a few sets to adapt, but was wondering if you had any issues?
  23. Congrats to Whitney and Nate! That men's final was as close as it gets!
  24. @TheNYDad once submitted, you only have 24 hours to edit a post.
