  1. @BraceMaker if 3 skis, I'm seriously impressed (and humbled)! :D
  2. Ain't nothing wrong with taking your kids tubing, so no reason to explain or justify. Only questions I have since you're on a purpose built lake: Are they limited to 6 passes, and do you shorten the line each pass?
  3. Dang, that's about as calm and smooth as it gets! Hoping to finally get on my brand spanky new one in the morning.
  4. Toilet bowl cleaner works great on hull discoloration. I just put it in a bucket and apply with a throw away sponge type floor mop. Let sit for maybe 5 minutes and then rinse off with a hose. Make sure trailer gets thoroughly rinsed! For hard water spots, a spray bottle of vinegar and water mix works well.
  5. Also, if using a tournament type vest, switch to a USCG approved vest. The greater buoyancy will keep you higher in the water and make the starts much easier.
  6. @MISkier we control our lake level, and will bring it back to summer level 1st week of April.
  7. What a difference 4 days makes in MI, quickest ice out ever!
  8. Still have 8" of ice and fishing shanties.
  9. Welp, the thread title sure has taken on an entirely new connotation...
  10. I've been using floating goggles since I was 15. My uncorrected vision is really bad, so everything is way too blurry without. Never cared for contacts in general, and definitely not when skiing die to spray getting between eye and lens. You wont really notice water on the lenses.
  11. Definitely how a slalom skier peels off boots after shoveling. Use the back boot toe to leverage off front boot heel, then use front toes to leverage off back boot heel!
  12. By being stacked, you're using your skeletal structure to transfer the load rather than using your muscles to transfer the load.
  13. @lakeo FWIW I've always thought Syndicate may have been a bit of a nod to that classic marketing campaign.
  14. This is so cool, great job making and keeping things fun!
  15. @hewgdaddy the trend over the past decade has been wider for tournament 3 event boats.
  16. Haha @Horton it's a Denali, so of course it's not cheap!
  17. @Horton hopefully next year. COVID has been brutal on the pocketbook this year.
  18. Thank you! I really can't afford to replace my C65 with this right now anyway, so you're saving me $$ (I still love my C65 BTW)!
  19. Besides more power, your vest may be an issue. If you have a non USCG approved vest, get one (approved). Sitting higher in the water helps much more than many folks realize.
