My youngest driver was yesterday. I was super pumped that my 12 year old son Curtis was able to pull me at 34mph, 35 off the tow rope while I free skied at a beautiful lake in NC where our family yearly vacations. He did an awesome job! I think by the end of the season he could be ready for the course! Gotta love when the whole fam is involved with our sport. So it sounds like we have learned something here, if you have not washed you vehicle lately, you must NOT do oil changes?!? Our CP has regular oil changes. Dont make assumptions about our boat!!

Will, Nate, and Parrish have all run 41 on this boat and they like the way it skis! @Skoot1123‌ that is great. You will have fun skiing in tournaments, and they only make you better, as least it has helped me. Is your lake still frozen? Our is in Ohio,but we headed to LaPoint ski park later this week!

I will be there with my family. The we are getting some sets in with KLP at LaPoint ski park!

Looking back, I had then too tight to ever come off. I did not like the feel when I would try them loose. Some have been fine skiing with them loose. I guess I would manage falls with tuck and roll, or just skid it out on my back, till this one.

I am/was a Strata user till my fall on June 15 this yr, that ended my season. I had a front foot partial release and had a Lisfranc Fracture, needed surgery, 15 screws and 3 metal plates in my foot for the rest of my life. 8 weeks non weight bearing. I'm walking now without the boot and doing physical therapy to regain strength in my calf muscle. I always tighten up the top laces pretty tight, and never fully released on the Strata in over a 4 yr period. My fall was at 34 mph and 38 off, which is my tough pass. I was headed to 3 ball and something wicked happened at the second wake.

@tru-jack yes your group is exactly what we are looking for. What are your dates? I will be there in October as well, if we overlap I have access to the house next door to mine for a good rate as well. We are charging $30/set for boat with driver, and one of the LaPoints will be your driver! Coached sets are $50/set, that is the lowest around town. I will do $100/ night for the house and all six will fit fine, it is 4 br with 2 additional sleeping cots available. I will send you a pm with more details.

Bryan, those are great ski schools. If you want help setting up the HO and get some great coaching, come down to LaPoint Ski Park in Orlando and ski with KLP. I can get you set up here, and do some coached sets, and then some non coached sets too, if you want. You will learn a lot from Kris about ski set up. I have a house for short term rental available near the lake about 20 minutes, check it out at vrbo.com/88077. I will rent it to any baller for $100/night.

I had an early season practice PB of 3@39 with Taylor Wosley driving and Nate Smith on the shore. Then my season ending injury. Did get 4@38 at June 5 tournament in Clermont just before the crash.

I would like to see the pics of skiers updated on the website, seeing Rossi on the MPD and Badal on a Monza reminds me of 2004.

What happened to Mapple in the head to head? He was the big winner early on.

This is great news, we missed Soaked last yr, but my kids have oct 17 & 18 off school, so I think we are driving to Orlando for this event! Do they have to charge admission? I would rather it be a no charge event, but have plenty of vendors so we can spend plenty of money on food, waterski gear, etc. the vendors can pay a small fee to be onsite to generate funds.

My vote is the HO coeffiect x, I have seen Will Asher ski on this and looked great, I think he got 4 at 41 off and it was Feb in Acapulco
