Will the Atlanta Pro Am be the same weekend next spring? I plan to go if I am healthy by then.

Peter, I like your idea of a release with radar sequence plate. @vtjc I was over 4 seasons on double stratas until my lisfranc fracture on June 15 this year, and am now out for over six months! Iam going to reflex next yr. when I ski next.

We will be providing practice behind our Carbon Pro at Lapoint Ski Park in Orlando before and during Nationals. We are located right off the turnpike about 2 hr 15 minutes from West Palm. We can offer practice for slalom and trick. Most likely your driver will be Kris or Jenn LaPoint. Be ready to run you personal best or even set a record behind the Carbon Pro! These boats are sweet. While I did not read every word of this thread, but after looking at the videos, I would suggest to remember to keep the arms straight, especially coming into the 1st wake. My wife is working of the same speeds and line length, and when her arms are straight it really helps.

That is kinda funny John. I missed a deep water start earlier this year when skiing with KLP! Talk about embarrassing, and I was at 38off! surgery good, at home and hittin the Percs! Thanks guys for the concern. Doc thinks it looks good, and the broken bone (4th metatarsal) is healling good and did not need screws. He did have to fuse the bones in the lisfranc joint in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd metatarsal, and I have 7 screws in my foot that stay in. As far as binding, I have been thinking about going to Reflex for about a year, especially since been partners with KLP. But for my son Curtis who broke tibia and fibula on May 7, I owe him the chance to ski on something that will release. He was on HO Level boots and leg broke at the top of the boot. @ob what kind of injures have you seen with Reflex?

@scarletarrow let's not change our role from ski buddy to doctor? Dr. junko said no skiing for 6-9 months, I did not make that up. @chef23 you are probably right about overtighting the Stratas, glad they are working for you. Glad you son is back skiing, my son broke both tib and fib, we are hurting here. @johncox can you check with Andy and on price for 3 G10 plates for me? I know you have an in there and I may change over the whole fam. Thanks

I have radar stratas never released in 4 yrs, but this time partial release after second wake at 38, tip caught and twisted foot bad, I have a Lisfranc fracture. I think I will try Reflex next year when I ski again.@ob what binding are you on? And how many lake have skied so far?

That sounds like a great time, have fun! BTW, nice article in the current Waterski Mag! My son just got his cast off from his broken leg, then I had a bad fall and broke my foot, surgery Friday and no skiing for 6-9 months):

Greg, I'll put $100 to see Nate and KLP. Maybe if Mississippi stop doesnt work, they could do it at the Michigan Big Dawg (since I will be at that one:) ). KLP may prefer to ski at 35 if he had the choice.

We skied at LaPoint Ski Park here in downtown Orlando all day even though we did have some showers today. Kids had a great time in the rain!

Nate is great guy, so happy for him today! Team Kolb had great time at Little Mountain yesterday skiing along side the pros! Thanks to John Brooks and all those that put on a great tournament. Maybe @killer you should meet him before you comment?

For club use the CP is hard to beat, no carpet to get dirty and moldy, large swim platform, innovative Bimini, wake as good or better than 200. Centurion has the best acceleration to 34 or 36 that comes in handy on short setups. Our CP at LaPoint Ski Park drives great and is available for anyone who would like ski or drive one. Let me know. Kids love the wake at slower speeds and long line

Ed, thanks for the course set up at Lapoint Ski Park in Orlando! We love the lake and the course is skiing great. We have had no complaints about the short lake, and have had guest from all over the country, including Nate Smith, Will Asher, KC Wilson, Jon Travers, Bob Lapoint and more. Our new lake, LaPoint Ski Park is an 8 bouy overlapping course, and everyone that has skied there has loved it, including Nate Smith, who bumped our course recorded today, running 41! I love having the zero ball there, I go around it at 28 off, and then go just in front of it at 32 off and shorter. I skied back in Oh today, and on my first pass I was missing having the zero ball here. It really helps you know how wide you are or not. I agree with @ob, take a wind protected, private 4 bouy site anyday over public water and other boat traffic.

That video is Edged in Water, very funny! My kids love to watch that.
