  1. I have the carbon fiber option. I believe it is made with a core in plastic or g10 and wrapped in carbon. So far no break.
  2. I am 6'2 210 lbs and was riding a 17 Pro Build 68 last year. The 67 18 is fun but I don't think it will give me as many buoys as the 68. My weight is too much for the 67 in the turns when I put front or back foot pressure.
  3. It must be a weird perspective as I am not that tall :-) 68 vs 67 was an interesting experience. The 68 doesnt feel crazy fast compared to the 67 but a lot more stable in the turns. I have to ride the ski on the front foot in the turns and stay nice and tall. On the 67, I could push on the ski and snap turns which does not happen as easily with the 68. I am running stock settings and I am probably going to give long and shallow a go on my next ride which I ususally prefer on the longer ski.
  4. I did not see "SIRI" on the option list to tell my new Nautique which speed and ZO setting to set.
  5. @ColeGiacopuzzi I am on the Reflex Supershell Original and I had to move my 2 top buckles to accommodate this line, but I have to admit it felt really good. Comfortable but driving the ski well.
  6. And the worse part is that my season never stopped.
  7. @Bruce_Butterfield If I can get past a rico at 38 I will do a victory lap in the course in my speedos

  12. What's off season? @ColeGiacopuzzi @charlieskiwest @Horton
  13. Stokes rocks. Great quality and comfortable. I used to buy a new vest each year from other brands, now every 5 years sounds about right
  14. blacktec is best. Modetec is modetec is great but not as warm
  15. I ran my 154th set (including tournaments) on Saturday. It was pretty special since it was at the BOS headquarters and Rob Muhlitner was driving while Richelle was coaching, while Horton was watching the kids...
  16. @bassfooter I was too hot in my t-shirt -:)
  17. I am 6"2 215lbs and have been riding the 16 Vapor 68 and up to august a 17 Pro Build 68. I tried the 18 Vapor in 67 and loved it. I moved from the initial stock settings 6.975/2.450/0.765/9 - 30 but much preferred 6.860/2.505/0.780/9-30. The ski feels fast but shutdown enough in the pre-turn. Offside is amazing. When the temp dropped recently, I felt like the ski was riding higher and I started getting some tail slides and overturning on my offside. I added a bit of depth 2.510 and a notch of length 6.865 as well as moved my front boot to 30 1/8. The ski is more grippy and stable. It is great for an heavier guy to be riding a 67. One thing that I found is you really have to move forward in the turn and at the finish of the turn (like on most skis I guess). Bottom line is I loved the 18 and I'm very excited about the new ski season.
