  1. The ECI puck requires a 1" hole to install it externally, you can leave it under the deck, you'll just have to figure out a way to secure it the correct way up.
  2. If you move the steering cable connection point to the inner threaded hole on the Rudder tiller, you take away some of the "mechanical advantage" and the steering feels more loaded / connected.

  4. The way I see it, the beep is the only way to measure that you don't have Satellite drift in Zero Off. If you turn it off and you have drift, the gate set up for slalom could be significantly off. It's even more important for Jump.

  6. I've had the spring break on me also, Reflex recommends replacement every 2 seasons (See Here) in Fresh water every season in Salt. @Horton, you can rest easy that people are pulling their release apart.
  7. I had similar issues with a 2014 recently. Took video of the screen going to keyboard mode, or not being able to select ZO letters etc. MasterCraft sent a replacement screen, put it in, all worked well for about three hours till we started jump with the boat, issues started again. Crossing the wakes caused a loose connection to act up, (as Jody said), we found the plug to the Zero off head unit, down on the foot board, had one pin (of three) not connecting properly. It looks like it could have been that way from manufacture.
  8. I don't have a review, but there's 2 Pro Builds at Myuna Bay and one in Sydney that I know of.
  9. We had an incident the weekend just gone at the Australian Junior Masters. I was driving the under 21's men's slalom with a skier rounding 6 ball @35off. I felt a sudden jerk on the rope and looked in the mirror to see him spinning flat in the air, above the water. Got back to him and jumped in to help him. He had been grabbed at the back of the head by the handle (it was bent) If that handle had got down to his neck I'd hate to think of the outcome. my opinion is we really need to mandate handle protectors in our sport. I have had one for about 4 years, (bought it through ball of spray @Brewski)
  10. Daniel Ricciardo for World Champ next F1 season :)
  11. Closest place will be Floyd Bay, sydney waterski club, not sure who and when they ski there, next will be Myuna Bay, about 1hr 40min from Sydney airport, Club members ski there nearly every day. After that it will be Stoney Park 4 - 5 hrs from Sydney. I can hook you up at Myuna if that suits.
  12. The "Modified" usually indicates a engine prop or transmission change, from the first variation of the tested hull. Note - neither have changed since last years list.
  13. I bought a Noose Eliminator from Bruce in October 2013. I've used it for 3 seasons now (about to start the 4th). The product is great and showing no signs of wear. How long does TW's patent last? Surley Bruce could start making them again soon.
  14. Interesting that they have gone the same way as another brand, with a deep riding / automatic turning ski. Even the tail design is similar.
  15. As long as I've been involved in this sport at a National level in Australia, 035's men is always first off the dock. We don't use the B1/G1 or M1/W1 but its still the same groups first. I wonder why as well??
  16. These 2 shots from Jack's 2 years ago just make me smile each time I see them. Perfect fit for this thread.
  17. @scotchipman you have to email ZO or go on the website and fill out the request form, and get the file from them, they will require the serial number of the head unit.
  18. I have worked with my PP Zbox for a few seasons, and whilst getting great times, the pull is different to ZO, even the entry speed into the course was slightly slower with the ZBox. Short setups are a lot of work for the driver. It is a good option, but for a sport that is ridiculously technical, a good option doesn't always cut it, as mention if you ski tournaments, ZO is the only real option. I'm in the process of having ZO installed in my '03 197 TT.
