  1. That's our Myuna Bay Club boat. The salt water is very harsh on the boats but they are looked after extremely well. It has a heat exchanger and is flushed with Salt Away after every use, (almost every day). We turn the boats over ever year, and have never had any issues after sale. There are several of our previous boats that we see regularly and the new owners are always happy. As far as the LXR's themselves, (we are on our 2nd, and had 5 LX's prior) they are a great boat. The wakes aren't quite as good and they don't track as well as the TXi but pretty close.
  2. No, Nephew. Son of Rob & Bronwyn - Wing Wetsuits
  3. That end course driven by Will is near as good as it gets. If Nate had of run 4 bouys on the next pass, (43'off) would the record have been approved without "tape" on the windscreen of the boat?
  4. There definitely will be a lot of tech development with this surf science program, that should filter down and be of use in our sport.
  5. I have an HO A3 and my daughter drives an Audi A3.
  6. ZO have built and been testing their own pucks recently.
  7. I agree with the statements about gauges in boats not always being accurate. In saying that the new ProStar that towed the Australian Open and also towed slalom at our Nationals had a similar gauge to the one being describe here, it showed half / three quarters when full, and would run with the needle on empty for a fair while. So I guess it not a one off scenario @volsandskis .
  8. @Horton "Drives your nuts" ?????
  9. I've asked exactly the same question. The answer I got was, it starts, speeds up, handles, doesn't leak, doesn't rattle and turns off. It's not a AWSA boat test, so the wrong prop probably would not be noticed by a non tournament driver.
  10. Apparently there was a few 2014 Prostar's that left the factory with the wrong props, Brooks Wilson may chime in and explain. We had one here in Australia that couldn't get to 58km/h. The boat we had here for the Australian Open had the 6.2ltr engine, with a 3 Blade prop (jump prop so I'm told) and it felt slow when you skied behind it, but was not slow by any means.

  12. @Horton Your conversion of 160F to 71.1C is correct. The problem is 80F (individually water or air)= 26.7C x 2 (each water and air) = 53.4C This is why it wont be an easy conversion table to convert imperial to metric. Metric is easy 0 degC = Frozen water, 100 degC = Boiling water. Someone with a lot more time and desire than me, may be able to work it out.
  13. @Horton You may have to do a slight adjustment to your table. 80 degF = 26.7 degC so 100 B should be 53.4 degC The problem is with F to C conversion, it's not a set formula. If we (Down Under) had 80F / 27C water, we would then have a air temp of freak'n hot 111F / 44C to reach 100B. Good luck trying to figure the entire table though :).
  14. No gap between insert and fin block if you use washers or packers on the insert, it may create a little more tension but probably no more than the ski trying to flex against a flat block. (If that happens, I'm no expert in ski flex/design) I'm not suggesting doing this, I was just commenting for the people that wanted to try the rocker block on different skis, (that holes don't match), could achieve the same tail rocker with packers.
  15. If the tail of the D3 is flat prior to installing the Rocker Block, what's the difference. (unless D3 have deliberately strengthened the inserts)
  16. Why can't you put different thickness Washers/Packers under the centre screws of any ski's fin block to create rocker in the tail?
  17. Can you send out the latest upgrade, or do we need to get it from PP?
  18. I recall a video of the Atlanta Pro Am, where I'm sure (with a small amount of certainty) I heard the boat disengage almost instantly after the exit gates. It may have been a short lake necessity, because it happened for almost every skier. Therefore in this situation there was no unsportsmanlike like conduct, each competitor was in the same boat.
  19. @GregHind No Probs, I'm happy to wait a few weeks. Let me know when you think it's ready to send out.
  20. Yep, Brooks is in Australia at Stoney Park until next week. He is coming back to Australia in February - March for Aust. Open and Moomba. We had a fun Superhero themed tournament on the weekend.
  21. @GregHind, I too would be interested in the latest version software, I'll PM you.
  22. I emailed TW early September (on the email address posted on this forum) asking to buy 4-6 handle guards. Still no reply to date. Is selling them high on his priorities? or just stopping other skiers from being safe?
  23. The only injury I have had from my reflex, is after release, kicking my rear leg shin with the heel of the reflex boot.
  24. Hi Bruce, Shane From Australia here. Sorry to here about your injury, hope you heal quickly. I was having a conversation at out lake on Saturday about ordering handle guards. Where is the best place to get them from? There is 6 members of our club that all use the same Masterline handle so a bulk order will be placed this week.
