  1. If you don't have a skilled driver you better purchase the Nautique.
  2. Entry deadline is Tuesday 8-4-15, $10 late fee after that. Also, it looks like next years Nationals could be in Chiacgo.
  3. Just took a quick count. It looks like there are 333 slalom skiers with up to date entries for Nationals.
  4. I'll have my Red special edition 67 Vapor for sale during Nationals with size 10 Strada bindings. I will be buying the new one. My ski and bindings are in perfect condition.
  5. Binding and ski, I have a pic of the Boa binding but won't post till cleared
  6. Bill at Performance already has one on hold for me
  7. Too early, you'll have to wait for the bids to come in. It can be as late as mid winter for the decision.
  8. It will have the remote oil filter.
  9. I was a judge in the boat for the Big Dawg at Okeeheelee. I think the first 10 or so skiers used A2 and then we were switching between C2 and A2. I only remember one B2.
  10. Just remember, dual lock does not last forever. After a few releases the duel lock needs removed ( not very easy ) and new installed. The question should be, when will the bindings release when least expected? This will be the hardest fall you have ever experienced.
  11. You know what Jody, I used to bring my own ballast weight ( 50lbs bag with handles ) till I saw it being thrown from the boat onto the dock. I think I paid Skip almost $50 for the weight bag. No more. The last tournament a carabiner broke and hit the boat. The skiers with the Reflex boots seem to like to throw the boot into the boat from the dock. I especially like it when the pin person thinks the first step into the boat is the top of the motor box. I'm not a tricker but if the trick wake is so bad why do the record scores keep going up. These days the 200 is non stop at tournaments here in Florida. The other 3 boats just stay tied to the dock.
  12. Also don't expect me to let you start piling cement blocks or rusty barbell plates in my Promo Boat unless you intend on buying it. trick skiers are the absolute worst for mistreating boats. Who in the world approved a rule to let a trick skier use a carabiner to attach their handle to the rope?
  13. I think there will be a updated running order tonight.
  14. The Record tournament will be run on the Turnpike lake on Saturday
  15. That's my actual boat on Page 63, pretty cool
  16. I think the problem with Regionals and Nationals is the 3 event qualification. I was at a Southern Regionals around 5 or more years ago and a couple of the appointed drivers had no idea how to set the Wait Time or select a course so the boat wouldn't accidentally pick of the course on the other lake and shut off the wait timer. I also overheard a certain driver talking about having to drive quite a ways to be able to drive jump so he wouldn't lose his 3 event rating. I watched the end gate camera and the boat paths were pathetic. You would think for Regionals and especially Nationals we would have the best of the best. I totally agree with Greg Davis advise. Also, check into getting on a Promo Team!!
  17. Cool, I would have opted for a black platform and Titanium Sea Deck. Nice looking boat FYI decals and Nautique are the same size as last year. The vents have been moved.

    ZO Surging

I coordinate the Southern and Eastern Region and only know of 3 boats that had a problem. I think Nautique has every Promo Team member in a 15 except for 8 or 9 guys.

    ZO Surging

Mine works great, over 60 hours.
  20. He did tend to keep it out of site. He kept in his ski sock at the starting dock until the boat was coming back to get him for his set.

    Pylon creaking.

Are you using a shock tube? Be careful the strap from the shock tube is not between the pylon and the rope! This will cause a creaking sound and the rope will ratchet as the skier goes side to side.
