Talk to someone at Palm Bay in Florida. In the beginning they panicked when the lots were not selling fast enough and they let 1 or 2 wakeboard boats in. Worst desision ever. These boats destroyed the shore line. I believe the wakeboard boat owners have since moved out. I agree with Jody on the towers, also no internal or portable ballast or wake plate that is engineered for wake boarding. You could go as far as ruling out no wakeboard! I believe Ski Paradise in Florida has the no wakeboard rule.
I'm all for if you qualify to ski a division that's the division you ski. Meaning if you ski into the MM qualifications that's the division you ski for the remains tournaments and Regionals and Nationals. What other sport can you participate in where you decide what division or class you want to be in.
Wish, you need to work on getting your judge, scorer, safety or drivers rating. We are always looking for good officials. With these ratings you can usually get free entries.
Jughe's, surely your not going to stroke a check on a boat price listed at a boat show. Too get that price where you need to be it would probably take multiple visits to the dealer and some serious hagling. I'm stunned at different people I know that don't understand the fine art of bartering.
I wouldn't want something I'm not going to get at a tournament. But, I would still opt for a used 200 before a " new " 196. I've owned 13 196's and 7 200's. The 200 in my opinion is a better boat.
I've always wondered what the inside temp is on say a hot day in Florida? I liked to know the temp driving down the road and setting still. Most carbon fiber skis can't withstand hot temps. I'm sure if the vehicle is sitting still it's got to be smokin hot inside.
