  1. Approved props are 4 blade / OJ 710 ---13.25 x 14,5 3 blade / OJ 768 ---14 x 13
  2. Why would you put a prop on that's not AWSA approved. If you don't ski tournaments I guess it doesn't matter.
  3. Turbos, one more thing to break or go wrong, just ask anyone who has owned a Ford diesel truck or the ecoboost engine.
  4. You said you skied the Centurion but did you drive it pulling a skier? This could change your mind!
  5. So what was the price as it sat on the floor? And what did the base include? I've heard base is basically nothing.
  6. All my Promo's except for Becky are 6 liters in Florida. That is 5 out of 6 are 2014 6 liters. Becky hasn't sold her 13 so not sure what her 14 will be. FYI if you are looking for a really nice clean 13 give her a call.
  7. Is anyone experiencing the severe drought on ski lakes in California? The drought has been on the NBC Nightly news for the last few evenings.
  8. A 6 buoy course would have put the course even further into the middle of the lake. It was too far out as it was for spectators.

  10. In Florida motorized boats must stay 150' from the side and 300 from the rear. Also a motorized boat in not allowed to enter the course when in use.

  12. In Florida the majority of tournaments are E,L or R. Some also run a C for the first few skiers but it seems like if the tournament is just C it has a good chance of being cancelled.
  13. You guys do know that you can have a F class ( tournament) for skiers that might be new to the sport. Palm Bay in Florida use to start all their tournaments as F. They usually have 4 or 5 skiers in that division. This gives the tech controller time to set up for the E,L,R event In F you are guareenteed 4 passes but even in this division if you miss the gates you score 0 but you get to finish your 4 passes.
  14. Just for clarification, the Tower never takes your gates, you missed your gates.
  15. Actually the skier can continue at risk. I never could figure out the "at risk". If you continue and they rule you missed the gate so what? If they rule the gate was good your score continues.
  16. If the gate judging is the issue, how many of you guys have used Splash Eye. Awesome program but expensive. I say leave the gate rule as is, it' s confusing enough as is for the public. Also, what about those close calls of did the skier actually go around the turn buoy. Are we going to just give the skier a couple moligans because of the uncertainty of the call. I believe the rule states when in doubt rule to the skiers favor. I've seen gates reviewed 4 to 5 times in super slow motion. Maybe the rule change needs to be that the judge only gets one look and it is in normal speed along with a clear understanding of when in doubt rule to the skiers advantage.
  17. They were testing a new rudder. One of the boats had the new rudder at Nationals and they were made to replace it with the original rudder as tested before being able to use it at Nationals
  18. What would be the fun in that. Also that would be a extremely narrow course. I think that is a set up for blind skiers.
  19. I don't track my boat gas usage. Don't take this the wrong way but if I was concerned about gas I should probably find another sport. No one said this sport is cheap.
  20. Judas, yes you can get 2 metal flakes. You pick the Classic design, chose front and rear color ( metal flake )the same, then pick the deck color metal flake.
  21. Where would you put the lettering?
