  1. I had this issue 3 years ago that kept me out for a couple of months. Went to the chiropractor 4 or 5 times and then stopped as I felt it was beginning to aggravate the issue more than helping. Stop skiing for a few weeks minimum to let things "settle down" and to build strength. Started sleeping with a pillow between my legs since I sleep on my side. I also began doing dead lifts (not heavy weight) over the off season along with once every two weeks during the season using a hex bar to reduce the load on the lower back and have been symptom free ever since. Make sure your lifting form is perfect however. I also recommend McGill's books, especially the latest.
  2. @Kellen417 What manuf or website did you order from/use? Thanks.
  3. @Kellen417 Did you have to change out the bolt in order to fit the pad under the camera mount or was there enough thread? Seems like there is only 1/4" thread projection.
  4. Kubota Tractor.....was easy to locate however ! Still works to this day (800 hrs later).
  5. @jcamp The closest pole is 50' to edge of water but I have seen them 25' or so. Keep in mind that the shallow slope along the shore adds a lot of material quickly as you move out into the lake.
  6. My lake has a power line over it and I know several other lakes with them. Need to make sure the poles that support the line are well past the edge of the lake. Check with local power company in your area to see if they would have any other concerns.
  7. Besides hips up everywhere and higher on the boat on the pullout, your driver is also the issue. If you use the first video and start and stop as you are going through the gate they seem to be either way right or way left and rarely in the middle. The driver is a HUGE factor when you get to your hardest past. Great skiing for the time you have been at it!
  8. @Justin_C I was on a 2016 Lithium Vapor and went to an NRG. I too tend to be heavy on the rear foot and cannot speak for the GT but the NRG is the best ski I have been on in 7 years. It turns well even if you are back and just seems to stay with you throughout the pass. Very predictable. Good Luck.
  9. @ski6jones Many years ago I recall measuring (under 20 kg of tension) my severely twisted rope and it was almost 11" longer at 28 off when it was untwisted. A twisted rope also feels a bit spongy to me when skiing. To this day I make sure every twist is out of it before I get pulled up.
  10. @scorban2 I have been using the new gray 41 tails for a few weeks and like them better than the red ones. The red ones fit smaller and I could barely get the velcro on the back of the hand to wrap back and stay closed. The gray ones are wider and slightly longer in the fingers. Grip is the same if not better.
  11. With the amount of slack rope that I tend to ski with that SeaDeck won't stand a chance...:)
  12. I have been at 6.880 2.10 .750 7 30" for 67" and its been awesome from 85 deg to now 58 deg. Only thing I changed was wing at 8 when the water was warmer. Great ski!
  13. @Drago Done. Still using the same settings that I posted earlier except wing moved to 7 since my water is now 60 deg F.
  14. John - Be sure to try (if you have time) some short and deep settings. I have been at 6.880 2.510 .75 8 deg 30" (67") and its been awesome. Looking forward to the review.
  15. I have a good friend that is a physical therapist with his own practice for over 35 years. He told me last week (somewhat tongue and cheek) that crossfit has been great for his business. A lot of this depends on your age. I am over 50 and rest/recovery is WAY more important than anything else.
  16. A buddy watched the event from home and said the live video from the boat was really good. Who do we need to reach out to see if it can be posted online?
  17. I just bought a ML rope last week and have used it for 3 sets. It felt very spongy for the first set and after the 3rd set I would say its 75% better. Need to keep in mind that any new rope is going to feel spongy since we are always comparing it a rope that has been used for hundreds of passes that has zero "give".
  18. How close to tolerance do their ropes hold up over time?
  19. I have never been able to get Wakeye to work on my 2 year old LG G4 phone. I get message that reads 4k UHD not supported on your device and stops recording after a few seconds. I have not loaded the update.
  20. Where do you guys have the bindings? Thanks.
  21. Trying to help a buddy set up a 68". Any advice for binding and fin settings for 55 degree water and a 35 to 38 off skier? We are having to put front binding at 30 1/2" just to get it to want to turn offside which seems way too far forward. Other current settings .750 2.455 6.960 Still not working very well on the offside. Thanks.
  22. I had the same thing happen to my 2005 196 last summer and it was the kill switch. Even though the kill switch clip looked connected, I pulled it out and pushed it back in a couple of times and it worked. I think the plastic clip warped a little for being in the sun over the years and just did not keep the switch fully engaged.
  23. Personally, I would stay with the two puck system unless you buy a spare and have it ready to use should you switch to a single puck system. We all know how temperamental these pucks can be.
