  1. @Ilivetoski did the discoloring go away?
  2. Nothing to worry about here. This is somewhat inherent to the carbon speed skin material we use. Carbon speed skin isn't flat. It is actual woven carbon bonded to a solid TPU backing material. It's pretty cool stuff actually. The fin slot is cut into ski therefore humidity can get into the carbon's low pockets. No harm, no delam, just breathing really. I've had it happen to mine if I leave the ski in the bag or in a neo sleeve without first airing it out.
  3. @ALPJr yes, the boots will be available in either a standard plate or a direct connect version. @mmosley899 the boots at the Nationals were in fact final production models. Lace holes are in the Edge version too, from what I've seen.
  4. @ALPJr Yes, for 2017, vMax gets a removable liner. This is the same heat moldable liner we are offering with the Syndicate Hardshell. @fox197 We co-developed what you see on the Edge product. JT was instrumental in this process. Ours is identical to Edge, but with Syndicate badging.
  5. VTR is still a very relevant shape and stays in the line. We'll be offering the VTR in a Women's graphic and layup as well. VTX is a completely different shape and feel. We've had great success with having two Syndicate skis in the line over the years, so we've moved that direction again for 2017. It just took a couple years in development. When you see one in person and get a chance to ride it, you'll understand why. As far as new boots, we 'pre-launched' the Syndicate Hardshell system at Nationals this week. It is a collaboration with the guys at Reflex, using their release mechanism, but redesigning the boot/plate interface.
  6. @horton would've run his 38 if he had taken some depth away...
  7. Yes, we are going to be offering two different Syndicate models for 2017. VTR will have a new graphic and VTX is an all-new shape in every aspect.
  8. @tdub Their front boot will work, but their rear plate doesn't match-up. Our plated RTP will work on ours and theirs. Or you can go with our direct connect rear toe for a cleaner look.
  9. @bkreis The 2017 models are coming out the same mold as 2016. Only graphic changes for 2017.
  10. @Tdub Just this week, we expanded our Syndicate Demo Program to include the Superlite CX and Superlite TX. In my opinion (and yes, I'm biased), anyone skiing the course between 28 to 32 mph should consider these skis. These skis are not simply wider versions of our top-end Syndicate line. They are purpose-built designs for their intended skier, i.e. someone who skis the the course, but also want's bad-a$$ ski for open water ripping up to 34mph. To give a rough idea on width, the CX and TX are 0.14" and 0.33" wider across the front inserts than the VTR respectively. They share the PVC core and full carbon layup of the Syndicate line, but in a slightly more user friendly shape and rocker profile. Visually, aside from being beautiful skis, the biggest thing you'll notice is our clean-edge tail design which reduces drag by creating lift in the back 12" of ski. These skis are the unsung heroes of our slalom ski collection, although that tide seems to be rapidly changing. By now, many of you along with 26K+ others have seen the I took of Will running 34/-41 on this ski. Run, don't walk to your nearest dealer and pick one up!
  11. Congrats on the new PB @Jweber ! Still running these settings?: 6.899, 2.50, 0.720
  12. Should be shipping in late August/early Sept...
  13. @skigirl the top contours were re-designed in 2015, but the running surface has not changed since 2014.
  14. @Tequespray the Superlites have a lighter weight PVC core and full carbon fiber layup as opposed to machined PU and fiberglass. You'll feel these skis to be livelier/snappier due to the materials and also because they ride a little higher in the water compared to the standard construction.
  15. @OldboyII Not a prototype. This is the 2017 ski which is same mold as the 2015 and 2016. Just new graphics.

  17. @kingshredd let me know if you need any help off that ledge ;)

  19. Granted, it's Will Asher, but this ski has TONS of horsepower. See for yourself:
  20. @motoxchp, I'd go 68" if you're going to be using it at 32-34mph. You could also look at a 67" Superlite CX. It's a very capable 32-34mph ski in the course. I took from the photo shoot last week of Will running 34mph -41 on it.

  22. They both have a top end of 34mph, but the TX being wider is better suited to bigger riders or slower speeds.
  23. TX is roughly the same width as the old Triumph but totally new mold. TX also got updated with Clean Edge in 2015. @motoxchp the CX and TX are both made in Superlite versions. These are about 20% lighter than the standard versions due to their lighter weight PVC cores and full carbon layups. These have a livlier feel similar to the Syndicate skis but in a more user friendly shape for 28-34mph.
  24. @gginco Greg, glad to hear the adjustments are doing the trick!
