  1. I stuck a USB stick with music in my boat years ago and it hasn’t moved. Eruption is one of the first songs, but I screwed up, it should have been first.
  2. Just playing with the wing has been great as the water temp has dropped. Thanks @AdamCord
  3. I thought it was your kid, still super cool.
  4. @MNshortliner she is a bad ass, and when she is much older, you can pass on the compliment. For now, that was super cool!
  5. Babes, a sponsor, makes Spot Solver and that too will take the staining out of the hull.
  6. @LoopSki if you go look at it, ask about what happened to Brenda.
  7. @Skierx - I’m at full throttle long/shallow from the 2019 stiff/high double boot column, but boots are a bit forward at 29. During Horton’s review he tried similar settings, but if I recall correctly without scrolling back, he felt like he had to be perfect with them. For me, the ski just feels very free. The credit for getting me dialed in goes to @AdamCord. He was great help, so @Anderson, send him the video. I skied with at Trophy early this summer with Caldwell and he was laughing out loud about how well the ski was turning for me. I think he said something along the line of, “I thought you were done, and then you just threw the ski out there and bam!”
  8. I was running near PB passes and still working on getting the ski dialed for a while. It was completely worth the time and once honed in, bueno! Don’t give up.
  9. @Anderson what settings did you try?
  10. I’m sorry that you didn’t get dinner out of it. Maybe sharpen your fin next round.
  11. I broke the back block on a Reflex SuperShell the Friday afternoon before the state championships a few years ago. Austin and H20 had a new boot delivered to the ski site Saturday morning before I had to ski. Great service from H2O. I seem to recall they called me when I first bought the bindings too, just to make sure I got exactly what I needed.
  12. @ballsohard , you have great tastes in both movies and skis.
  13. One of my college buddies skied a Velocity. He later read a WaterSki magazine interview of Denny Kidder where Denny said something along the lines of, “we never could get that ski to work right.”

    Heaters

Cool, thanks. Eight years and well winterized on mine, so I’ll keep my chips on the table. The heater has definitely pleased the Mrs during a few chilly sets.

    Heaters

What is the lifespan of a heater? As @MDB1056 said, I know they leak. Just curious when a preventative replacement would be in order.
  16. A skier at our lake abandoned the Concept he loved for a Connelly GT. He is up at least two passes this year. He is really working on his form, but the ski made it easier to improve. Buy a ski.
  17. Some open bows have a wind blocker available. No idea if one can be added for that one. You could add a heater pretty easily. The Perfect Pass could be a marriage saver. If your wife is driving you, make her life easy and only get a boat with speed control. Especially if you start skiing the course with the local club. Happy wife, happy life.
  18. This thread spurred me to put the flat wing back on but with an extra degree of angle. I maintained better speed through the turns, so I will stick with flat.
  19. @ScarletArrow Don’t forget Riley Daulton! Go Bucks!
  20. Yes, I set up my C75 with a flat wing last season and just to experiment put the S wing on the ski in the middle of this season. The ski still glides and turns well, but my elbows stopped hurting, so I left it on the ski. Would another degree have done the same thing? Maybe, but I love how the ski is running now.
  21. @JeffSurdej, please consider adding smaller geographic regions to this year’s survey. I think the smaller regions, as MISkier proposed, helps to alleviate the burden of multiple trips requiring flights or multi-day drives that Horton brought up. Clearly, multi-lake sites are limited and smaller regions bring about other consequences.
  22. @ballsohard, that one gave him a feel for what he is going for on every lean. What’s crazy is that is on offside lean. By the way, I shared the comments with him. You guys made his day.
  23. Agree on all points. For the record, that is not his normal lean for 30/15.
