  1. Plug wires Cap and Rotor, vacuum leak, fuel filter(delivery) when injectors go bad they go bad, but a couple cans of injector cleaner wouldn't hurt. Having them cleaned professionally would probably cost more than buying some on ebay. Are they the light blue ones, if so they are 24lb injectors. We get lots of weeds on our prop and stargazer will run at 4k rpms to pull the right speed, so anything weird like that can cause the boat to run at a higher rpm to achieve the same speed spuddering is usually loss of spark power, engine timing, loss of fuel delivery, or a vacuum leak. Good Luck
  2. I wish I had your problem. How about "Lake Glad it's mine"
  3. A couple of years ago when he was coaching at Sunset ski ranch (My favorite Vacation spot) Terry would ski a set every day, and one pass he was sooo early to the 3 ball at 41 that there was no way he could stay out there and finish a good turn. That week he ran every 39 like nothing, That was a great highlight. Also, not only is he a great skier, he is a great coach and even better working with younger kids.
  4. I seem to get it every year as well. And what helps me the most is pulling harder (being aggressive). I start thinking that everything should be easy and I don't have to be aggressive in the course to run my 28's and 32's, then at 35 I am out of the rythm. Today I just cranked and it felt good, seems like the warmer water just makes me have to work harder. That is what helps me: run my 32's like they are 35's
  5. This might be the best article I have read, at least for me. I used it today and amazingly I actually liked the way I skied. I wasn't tired and best of all my lower back wasn't tight or sore. So just for that reason alone it is worth it!
  6. When you have it installed you have to hit the menu and up arrow at the same time, it then puts you into another menu. It made a huge difference on my boat. I was skiing in classic mode until I changed it.
  7. I bought a couple of airhead ropes, nice looking and good quality, but they were about four feet to long, for a couple of days I thought I was skiing like a pro. I ended up cutting and retying them then they were great. I even called them and told them that they were way off, now I just buy masterline.
  8. I just upgraded this year. had to invert the rpms and it works great doesn't overshoot but it did in the standard rpm. I don't have the Z box though. no changes to the throttle system at all. Twenty minutes and done. Once I figured the inverted/standard issue out it has run great16.95 or 6 everytime
  9. In my quest for a magical cure. I tried moving my binding back to the back hole A-1 67.5 Animal binding. And noticed that my off side turn felt better, but my on side I was getting a bit of slack. It also felt like I could get my ski on edge a bit easier.
  10. Does having the binding all the way back help your offside and hinder your on side? I also saw on schnitzski, that he has a manual for ski tuning, for 50 dollars has anyone used it? Was it worth it? Thanks Todd
  11. The TFI modules are notorious for going bad in fords. It is easy to replace. I used to keep a spare one with me. And it will do exactly what you are describing. It should have been called a thin film module. If that is what they find it is a simple 5-10 minute fix and hope they don't charge too much.
  12. I have had them set up stock before, and I probably ski about the same, just not as consistent. It always seems like my off side turns aren't as tight or I get forward more often. But maybe I will try it again.
  13. First time posting here. I currently ski on a 67.5 A-1 6' 195. I can usually get around the four ball at 35 off 34 mph. right now that seems about it. my settings are: Binding one hole back. 6.796 length, 2.503 depth, 9 degrees on the wing, and right now .92 on the dtf.. Which seems to be a lot, but I feel like I can turn better and seem to be skiing okay with it there. I know that I don't know anything about fin adjustment or enough to be stupid. Do these settings seem way off? I am thinking about maybe going to .94 dft because each time I have moved it seems to get better. I sure appreciate any insight. Thanks Todd
