    Wow - I know it's the bottom of the ski (performance) that matters, but I'm surprised they would put something on the market that looks like that.

    @jody, we may need to talk if you know of some available. Does the color difference indicate a difference in the makeup of the ski, or is it just a cosmetic difference?

    First off, thanks for all the thoughts on these ski questions. I'm now wondering about a sixam 2. Is that a super high end, stiff flex ski or is a little more forgiving that an intermediate to advanced skier will enjoy? I don't get on a course very often, but I am a fairly agressive recreational skier. Most of my skiing is at 22 - 28 off at 34 mph. Thanks.

    @horton, I didn't notice any type of fake leather top in the pics. Looks like a relatively normal exterior design.

    Anybody familiar with this ski? The only thing I can find on it says it was made in the Monza mold which I think was a pretty aggressive ski if I'm not mistaken. Is the NOS slightly softer/less aggressive? Any help would be appreciated. I emailed HO and they have not responded.

    Not at all. It's been years since I purchased a ski, so I'm having to play some catch up on product knowledge. Trying to find something in the $250-$300 range and these were considerably cheaper, so thought I would see what information I could find.

    Yeah, I know they're not the newest thing in the world. These will be extras to have around. They won't be hitting the slalom course any time soon. Thanks for the help.

    Hello- I'm looking at a couple of good deals on used skiis. One is the O'brien Synergy and the other is an O'brien Rumor Comp. Does anyone have any experience with either of these? I would like to know which design is newer, which is more aggressive vs. recreational, etc... Can't find much info. on these. Thanks!
