  1. I only ski fun class tournaments. Does that count?
  2. Will you drive 1 hour up RT 10? PM me your email.
  3. Anyone have the round 2 & final results? The link on the website is not working. http://www.mastercraftshootout.com/#!live-results/c33v
  4. @MattP‌ you think at 32mph he needs a little more ski under him? I thought a 68 would be about 190 - 220 lb.
  5. How old is this F1? @MS‌ that F1 is very heavy. I know it is older and must be all fiberglass but it weighs 3x what my Senate C weighs (the C is 3" shorter).
  6. @MattP, @MS‌ Thanks! I am pretty sure this ski is too big for my friend because he has lost weight. He bought it used and was 180 lb. What do you think, 68" too big right? 168 lb, 6' tall, 62 years old, freeskis at 32mph, has tried the course a few times at 30mph. Next year I want to talk him into a new or newer used 67" ski.
  7. I am going to help my ski buddy check his fin/binding settings. Anyone have stock #? Connelly F1 68", Year ??? Top of the ski is dark blue w/ black letters.
  8. Double high wrap bindings make deep water starts more difficult. The back boot prevents your ankle from bending enough to tuck the back foot up to you butt as @commuterfisher said. If your using double boots, think about switching to a RTP.
  9. Anyone at the Malibu Open know what’s up with the live webcast? It is not working today.
  10. If you want a new ski h2Oproshop.com has a "ride it before you by it" program. I have heard good reviews on the program. I was on a 2002 CDX 66" and I switched to a Radar Senate C 65. The Senate is great. I can't comment on D3, Goode or other models.
  11. Not sure if I need M or L.
  12. I am going to try the HO Empire. I want a little more padding in the palm than the 41’s. How is the fit compared to the 41’s?
  13. Skiers and drivers needed in Richmond Virginia area. We ski on the upper and lower James but more on the lower. Ski Lake Chesdin once in a while. I have a portable course and need skiers that want to help drop it in and ski. Send me a PM or email RVAriverdogs@gmail.com
  14. Brakes had some 2014 Radar BOA for about $20 off list. Now they are sold out. When you find a deal you got to jump on it.
  15. I hope not to make a habit of spending $90 (after paying shipping both ways) for something that’s going to ride in the boat for spare.
  16. BTW..I was using Accurate World Cup 3/4 M. I don’t like the 3/4 glove because they are hard to get off. I liked the World Cup’s and may get a new pair that is full finger. The World Cups have a much thicker palm. I guess I would get adjusted to a thinner glove. I am also looking at the Radar BOA, they may be easier to find the right fit.
  17. I know glove style and fit preference can be as individual as finding the right ski. You guys have any tips for a rookie to find gloves that don’t bunch up (or finding the right size to prevent bunching up)? I did my homework and read many threads and post about different gloves. I went with the 41 Tails because most of the post I read, people love them. I ordered L and the fingers fit but they were way too tight on the thumb. I sent them back for XL. The XL felt great at first but skiing they bunch up. I can’t stand the bunching up and only used them for one freeride. A few weeks later I talked to a Baller and his hands are almost exactly the same size as mine and he uses 41’s size M!! This seems crazy to me a glove would stretch almost two sizes. He said two things 1) they break in 2) always get gloves wet before you try them on (guess I'm the only one that did not know this). Now I have skied with them and I am stuck with XL gloves that are too big. Should I try glove liners to prevent bunching or go with a different glove?
  18. How many skiers from each round advance to the finals? If a skier makes it to the finals on the first round, do they skip the second round? Are the final scores of the first round posted?
