    Gas Cans

Visit your local dirt bike shop. Those guys somehow cornered the market on gas cans that don't suck. However, expect to pay a premium, but I can tell you have had mine for about 12 years and they still run strong.
  2. They work great and Terry is fantastic with designs.
  3. Great news, but have come to expect to hear things like this about D3.
  4. humbling yet humble - a true class act
  5. I am sorry son... I just don't know where your wakeboard went. Go grab your ski.
  6. I would love to see an extra kids division / age group added - ie. B1, B2, B3, and B4. I agree that the 36 is a jump, but the B1 to B2 jump is much worse at 30 MPH to 34 and what makes it worse is they are at a much younger age. I also think it would bring a whole other group of medalists each regional and nationals. Lets face it - There is little opportunity for some kids to ever win much less really compete against kids 4 years older than they are. I know - It could take the tournament longer to run, but I am of the opinion that it would be worth it. Maybe if we get more juniors entered in our sport, AWSA will think about more age groups.
  7. Perfect timing. I just got my dock house done.
  8. I am mighty scared of the baggage handlers. Anyone have a good method of traveling on the plane with you slalom stick? I am thinking packing it back up in bubble wrap and the original box unless someone has a better solution.
  9. I know that some people are going to think this sounds hair-brained crazy, but trust me and try this. If you are consistent with this method I am going to tell you about, chances are you will never need to tape your blistered hands again. Keep your razor in the shower and when your are about done showering and your skin is soft or pruney, run the razor over the callused spots. Yes - Shave off the thick skin that normally tears on your hands. Typically its the calluses from skiing or working out that will thicken up and cause skier blistered up or torn hands, especially when the water warms up. Yes, you read it right... Shave off your calluses consistently and you will not likely need tape, neoprene power-pulls, or glove underwear any longer. However, if you forget and do tear your hands open, use superglue if there is a flap of skin to glue back to your hands. It's basically the same ingredients that dentists use to substitute for bandaging and superglue stings far less than liquid bandage. Good luck.
  10. I have a few D3 and Obrien 62 inch skis...
  11. Both have nice wakes. However, you should drive both - with skiers behind you and see which one you are forced to counter-steer more. Having driven both boats, the Nautique tracks the very best. Not to take away from the MC, but the reason I started buying Nautiques is so my wife could drive / pull me, but not complain about how she couldn't hold me on a straight path.
  12. Yea I got that same thing in the past when I sold ski's on SIA and it ended up that I got my money.
  13. I am a demo guy for D3. I have a last years demos and I have an unopened 65 quest that I need to sell. call or text at 469-525-5028
  14. I would never go against anything Eddie Roberts would tell you as he is extremely knowledgeable. However, 60 lbs is pretty small for a 63 inch. Depending on her ability ( ability usually equates to boat speed at age 8) I would say that you should look at a 62 inch slalom ski. My 10 year old daughter weighing in at about 65 pounds last year and won nationals on a 62 inch older D3 - Pink Z7. Good luck, stay patient, and enjoy the journey with your little girl - as the rest of the details don't really matter.
  15. We had to rock our shoreline because restrictions on wake boats did not go far enough. This cost us upwards of 50 thousand for only two large wake boats causing most all of the damage. Here is my suggestion 1) only allow AWSA approved towboats. 2) No wake enhancements - ie Ballast, surf gate, Malibu wedge, Fat Sac, etc. 3) 21 foot boat or shorter 4) weight restriction - Maybe - Tuff one since approved ski boat have increased in weight as of late Good luck
  16. I may have missed it, but I was curious if you had any time on a original Helix last year and how the two compared.
  17. if there is no ballast - It has to be quite a bit less risk since there is no way those little pests could survive the temps after they make it much past the intake. Thoughts?
  18. I am on a promo team - message me if interested in buying a Nautique from Dallas TX
  19. No idea about shipping, but have to agree that the guys at Buxton are top notch.
  20. Not much to set up on that ski unless you buy an after market fin. Just need to find the sweet spot for binding set up. I think we went stock (middle) on that ski and did fine
  21. Dealers are now used to people not blinking at surf boats sales over 100k After closing many of those kind of deals they think customers should be thrilled for getting a boat for far less $$. We the ski boats customers must seem like a pain in the @$$ to a busy boat sales guy making far more money on the big boats.
  22. http://www.dallasnews.com/news/community-news/mckinney/headlines/20130614-best-neighborhoods-princeton-lakes-residents-embrace-waterside-lifestyle-year-round.ece They got most everything correct, but the home prices in this article
  23. Ok sorry - I didn't realize this was already posted. LOL
  24. This is a great perspective of Bel Aqua Lake 1.
