  1. Thanks for the suggestions. I am fine with plastic and will follow up with the two places suggested. The window literally blew up when I hit it with the point of a sheet metal screw while attempting to install a bimini. I did not want to attach the mounting hardware to the fiberglass and thought I could sneak it onto the window frame. I misjudged the length of the screw by a millimeter, and boom. Bad moment.
  2. I shattered my starboard windshield wing on my 2003 Nautique 206 over the weekend (don't ask). I am having trouble finding a replacement. The frame is fine. The glass is decidedly not. Does anyone have any ideas? I cant find this on Nautiqueparts and Taylor Made can't help me. I am told that Jodi Seal (sp?) on this forum is the man. Getting a bit freaked that my boat is going to be "winking" at me forever.
  3. Dawn patrol on our course on good old Lake Springfield can be pretty great. Of course, anytime after 10 a.m. and we get too many rollers. The lake has let shore owners install metal seawalls and the kick back is just awful - one boat going by perpendicular to the course and we are hosed. And we get to replace quite a few balls. But when its good its very good.
  4. A few years back, I was pulling my buddy through the course in a 1999 Malibu Sunsetter and "coaching" at the same time. (yea, I know, stupid). I got too close to a guide ball and the ball passed under the left edge of the boat. For reasons that I have never sorted out, the stern jumped out of the water, the boat took an immediate hard right and the bow fully submarined at 34mph. A massive wave crashed over the window and dang near washed me out of the boat before I could yank the throttle. Scared the crap out of me and the skier (who owned the boat). We wore the kill switch for the next few weeks, but the memory faded.
  5. Since the question is most "common", skier's elbow has to be at the top of my list since it comes just about every June and doesn't leave until October. If the question was most "enduring and disruptive", the answer would be ankle. Busted mine 2006 and its still screwed up. If it wasn't for my Stealths, (and before that my Goode hardboots), I would be on the dock watching.
