New ski on the market

Saw one of these this past weekend.  French company but the ski is made in Austria (sound familiar?).  Looked very similar to the Fischer but a bit wider in the forebody.  Without a Fischer on site to compare, it was difficult to determine any other differences but the quaility of the construction and the shape of the tip looked very similar.

ski looks sick! Dorien is on it. The skier in the last photo looks like he's riding an FM boot.

Claudio Köstenberger was the skier I spoke with about the ski (one of the skiers on the website).  He skied on Fischer for a period of time and feels this ski is superior due to some changes made to the design.  As stated, the construction is flawless and the pictures do not do justice to this ski - it has a blue tint on top that is very cool.

Wow! This makes my boron fiber skis look cheap. I mean inexpensive.

With my grinder, I force my skis to "adapt to my style" too.

Brent based on the conversion I just did (1870 Euro) it is just over $2500 US without a carbon fin.  It does look like a sweet ski though.

Would Fischer make skis for competing companys? or is there another Austrian company making skis also?

From what I heard, the ski is called the RAZOR and is made at the Fischer factory in Austria. No waffle design on the front top of the ski.

 

64"(soft), 66"(soft & medium), 68"(soft & medium).

It's Soft, yet stiff. And precise, yet flexible. It's mainly for new school technique, uh, ...unless you're old school. It's a razor, it's a Stiletto. It's wide, mid wide, and narrow.Yay!!
