Old MS Accout
I think this is the last spring I will get out of my dry suit. I hate bags and do not like the half bag Assult type of suit. Who makes a tight fit dry suit like the Oneill Throttle I have now? They do not make it anymore.
Baller 6balls Posted March 9, 2011 Baller Share Posted March 9, 2011 Interested as well. My Assault is only mostly dry. Baggy suits I don't like the latex seals, the leg drag, or the extra wind resistance that seems present. Would like a tighter-fitting suit that actually stays dry. Baller swc5150 Posted March 9, 2011 Baller Share Posted March 9, 2011 My Sahara fits nice and tight too, and I was lucky enough to get one of the last one's they produced before going under. Hopefully someone has some insight, as my suit won't last forever. Old MS Accout
I am on my second Throttle and they wear well, you stay dry and no resistance from the wind. Plus you can get under water if you have to dive down. Â Â

Baller ski4xtc Posted March 9, 2011 Baller Share Posted March 9, 2011 I have tried most and still own most. Definitely prefer the OS. We tape up our legs just below the knee with a strip of duck tape. This stops the dragging in the water. With four plus months a year in a dry suit, I get 2-4 years out of a set of seals. The key is to put seal saver on all the seals almost every time after you use it. Also, I store it rolled up in a sealed bag between uses. It has to be dry when you put it in the bag.

Baller baja Posted March 9, 2011 Baller Share Posted March 9, 2011 I loved my O'Neill Throttle for the 11 years it lasted. Then got Oneill Boost full baggy but it has stayed in the truck this year. I now use an Aleeda 4/3mm full wet suit and skied it down to 43 water, 45 air and was totally comfortable with no chill besides gloves. This new generation of super stretch neoprene full suits that are glued, taped etc and have the neck gaitor setups are as dry or drier than my Throttle. Similar to O'Neill Psycho series. So flexible, water tight, and easy the get on and off.

Old MS Accout
I have never gotten wet with my Throttles. Team M,Like you guys even use dry suits. Even die hard cheese heads turn wimpy when they move south. It will have dry rot before it wears out. Eye peeler,Thats way too big for me.
Baller 6balls Posted March 10, 2011 Baller Share Posted March 10, 2011 Volker says the Camaro's are dry in 1 mm and 3 mm, depending on your temp needs. I'm considering.
Old MS Accout
It may be cheaper to sell and move south. Â
