Hmmmmm?, large body of water open to the surrounding area. Nope, not buying the no crocs cause it's man made. I'd buy that it's to active for crocs to stay there but if it stayed unused for any good length, they would find a way in. Especially if there's food walking or wading about.

I agree, alligators finsd most lakes in TX and Louisiana at some point. I'm betting crocs find most bodies of water in Costa Rica. It wouldn't stop me from skiing the crap out of that water though

We were there in '02 when Ramon was running it as Aquaski Adventures. I'm not sure if it is the same lake that Jim runs on, but when we were there, Jason Parades skied right over the top of one as it was submerging. I was in the boat and witnessed it. After that we didn't ski at dawn or dusk because that is the crocs feeding time. We made T-shirts to commerate the moment.

Having said that, I would go back and ski there agin in a heartbeat. Costa Rica is an awesome place, and there are so many fun things to do and see in addition to skiing.

I have been to Waterski Costa Rica twice. How could you beat a vacation with as much skiing as you can handle followed by jungle adventures every afternoon?

The lake is first class and Jim is an excellent host.

I am already plotting my return.
