Baller rodltg2 Posted March 8, 2012 Baller Share Posted March 8, 2012 My buddy who lives on Mars sent me a pic of his new boat. http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b265/rodltg2/ROLCO08-595x446.jpg Obviously joking, but they sure do have some space age designs down under! crashman
looks a little like a modern day boomerang
Baller SkiJay Posted March 9, 2012 Baller Share Posted March 9, 2012 Nice! I don't know why "tournament" ski boats have to look like water tractors. I LOVE the Naugtique 200, but the interior looks like they upholstered a picnic bench.
Baller Hugh Nichols Posted March 9, 2012 Baller Share Posted March 9, 2012 Looks like it could be a good place to start a "bare bones ski boat". Wonder how it would sell here in North America....
Baller colo_skier Posted March 9, 2012 Baller Share Posted March 9, 2012 Looks like a really spruced up Gekko GTR22 with the support behind the windshield and the embedded ski platform. The engine box also looks to be high in the boat the same as the Gekko.
Baller_ The_MS Posted March 9, 2012 Baller_ Share Posted March 9, 2012 Take out the trunk and it looks good.
Baller PT Mike Posted March 9, 2012 Baller Share Posted March 9, 2012 If it's quality construction, ZO, and under 25K out the door w/ trailer sign me up. Anyone looking for a 96' Prostar?
Baller_ The_MS Posted March 9, 2012 Baller_ Share Posted March 9, 2012 It looks like they have a 20ft open bow walk through as their top of the line ski boat for 60k but I think thats Australian Ks. http://www.rolcoboats.com.au/paragon-inboard-boats.html
Baller Ed_Obermeier Posted March 10, 2012 Baller Share Posted March 10, 2012 FYI 60K AUD = $63,750 USD at current exchange rates. Not exactly entry level money.
Baller Ed_Obermeier Posted March 10, 2012 Baller Share Posted March 10, 2012 The model pictured above is the Rolco Nirvana. Base price 29,990 AUD ($31,865 USD) which I think includes the trailer. Looks like with much in the way of options you could be at $35K USD pretty quickly. Add a few thousand mnore to ship one over... http://www.rolcoboats.com.au/pdf/Nirvana%20Pricelist%20Jan%202012.pdf

Baller_ The_MS Posted March 10, 2012 Baller_ Share Posted March 10, 2012 I noticed that one of the options is a forward, neutral and reverse trans. Does it come without a tranny?
