Baller disland Posted August 7, 2013 Baller Share Posted August 7, 2013 Congratulations to the team. I am very happy MC is still investing in 3 event skiing. Now I want to see Freddy hit the wakes. Does he still fly them?
DooSPX
@disland watch the video posted, it shows Freddy behind the new boat.
Baller Lieutenant Dan Posted August 7, 2013 Baller Share Posted August 7, 2013 "Game Changer" = first ever pickle fork three event boat? I was on record that I didn't like the "hip-y" X boat look, but this boat doesn't look too bad...can't wait to see / ski one in person
Baller_ The_MS Posted August 7, 2013 Baller_ Share Posted August 7, 2013 I like the looks. Now it comes down to price and slow speed wakes.
Baller Nando Posted August 7, 2013 Baller Share Posted August 7, 2013 The hard cover for the open bow is brilliant- can't believe no one has done it before. The pickle fork is a little odd, but... We probably won't know until the official release, but when the SN 200 came out it was also a game changer in terms of price- a big step up that dragged 196 prices along with it. Given what MC's other boats are going for, I'm a little afraid to hear the price...
wrecknprogress
FB also said 3300lbs. Ugh. Little heavy for a ski boat, in my opinion. Lots of new ideas though. Can't wait for a real review.
Baller Lieutenant Dan Posted August 7, 2013 Baller Share Posted August 7, 2013 On one of the other threads someone postulated that the 330lb. weight might include the trailer....possible....single axle trailers about 800lbs.
Baller Lieutenant Dan Posted August 7, 2013 Baller Share Posted August 7, 2013 oops....meant 3300 not 330...

Baller BK Posted August 7, 2013 Baller Share Posted August 7, 2013 On their Facebook page, one of the pics says that it's 5" longer, 5" wider and 400 lbs lighter. I think that 3300 was supposed to be 2300 for total weight.
Baller ForrestGump Posted August 7, 2013 Baller Share Posted August 7, 2013 In the wakeboard world, MC is the leader in board racks and had the forethought to patent their design. The ski racks in the new ProStar use that same design. Very cool.

Baller_ Wish Posted August 7, 2013 Baller_ Share Posted August 7, 2013 @E_T I find that most interesting. Aside from the Gekko, and the old Supra Ts6m, that is way outa the box thinking.
bogboy
Wow, those lifting stakes look pretty good.
Baller Murrski Posted August 7, 2013 Baller Share Posted August 7, 2013 wonder how peculiar pulling up on a trailer will be... very innovative though. Looking forward to the first eyeover in person.

Baller gsm_peter Posted August 8, 2013 Baller Share Posted August 8, 2013 I think the boat industry needs some type of aligned well defined definittion on fuel consumption and weight. Why not a driving cycle like for cars. X hours on idle. Y hours draging a long rope at different speeds. Type measure the tension in the rope at the pylon. Maybe 100 lbs at 30 mph could simulate an average skiier. Weight should be with standard equipment driver and half fuel.
