Why would they do that... New boat lest not have the best use it at a record pro event.

@MattP If they go out on a limb like that and it goes over well, it's the best move they could make. Like Mercury having the guts to rig all of the Bassmasters Classic boats with the brand new 250 hp Verado that was barely in production at the time. Could have been a disaster but instead it proved the totally new design concept to the world.

Perhaps highlighting my ignorance here, but don't tow boats have to go through some sort of testing prior to a ski season to be "approved" as an official tow boat for that season?

Just in the USA. Boats can get exceptions to pull events. IWWF does not have an approval process as far as I know.

They've only made 4 boats... only loss in investment would be R&D (lot's of time I know)... not a line of already manufactured boats. Roll the dice and shock the world!

@horton i would expect nothing but the best from the pioneer of tourny tow boats!! Sounds so sic wish i was there to check it out!! @Horton can you please post the video of you skiing this new tow rig?
