Looking for a ZX-1

I am looking for an Infinity 2001 or newer. I used to sell them so I'm quite familiar these boats. If anybody has one they are trying to sell, or knows of one that is for sale I am interested.

@mattm, fiberglass really faded, but only minimal damage. Interior completely ragged out, soft floor. Don't even know exact year of boat. I can inquire of owner his interest in selling.

Just curious. Why do you want a ZX-1? I used to have one and loved it...so not bad mouthing it. Just curious if there was some special quality you were looking for and/or appreciated about it

@mattm, here's the contact that has a ZX-1, 2001. His name is Joe Burkhead and email addresses is rjburkhead at att dot net. The biggest problem is you're in WA (I think) and he's in KY. He's eager to sell I think.

Thanks Leon but it sounds pretty rough and I am not looking for a project. I like the ZX-1 cause it really performed well. I like a lot of boats but the Infinity can be had for quite a bit less than one of the big three. I have a SN 200 at the lake and it's great for skiing but it's a club boat so I can't take it off the reservation. An older nautique or malibu or MC cost a lot more and to be honest I don't think is a better boat.

 

Man if MC would have built the ZX-1 like originally planned it would have dominated.

Don't know why you would want one. Worst boat ever ! I rather quit skiing than ski one again. Tracks terribly , very weight sensitive , wake hard as granite , rub rail always falls , nose heavy around island causing spray all over windshield , hard to trailer and ugly as sin.

To rodltg2, If you were to quit skiing we would have to rely on the boat buyers guide to get a review of the boats that are out there.

That '03 on SIA seems really high at $23k? I've seen them for half that out there. I do dig those boats. If I could swing 2 boats, I'd love to have one.

23k for any '03 seems high but for a boat that the manufacturer is gone it's way too high. I would guess the seller wants to sell the 01 more than the 03.
