In a couple of years we're going to look back at all these green and orange 70's colors skis and say "What was I thinking, this color is butt ugly" and want to get rid of them for a new black (or some other color) ski. He painted his bedroom black and green and hung the ski on the wall. We couldn't ski it like Clint Knox, but maybe our hair wasn't long enough. I only got to use it a few times over many years, but put a full boot on the back cause the LaPoints had double boots and it just looked so cool like that. The guy at the ski shop said a rear boot was called a "suicide boot" which I thought made it even cooler. I'm pretty happy to see O'brien go back to these colors. They had'm first!
