Baller BlueSki Posted September 20, 2013 Baller Share Posted September 20, 2013 Has anyone ever thought that the inspiration for Mapple's design of his special edition Nautique 200 dated back decades? http://www.nautique.com/teamblog/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Teamblog4.jpg http://www.whokilledjonniesturtle.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/the-a-team-van.jpg
Baller Nando Posted September 20, 2013 Baller Share Posted September 20, 2013 The AM 200 needs a 1980s-style Mastercraft "roll bar" net in red to to match that sweet spoiler to complete the package.
Gold Member Than_Bogan Posted September 20, 2013 Gold Member Share Posted September 20, 2013 Was that one of the A-Team vans? It looks a lot like it, but not exactly how I remember.
Baller A_B Posted September 20, 2013 Baller Share Posted September 20, 2013 "A" for Andy? Probably not, but if he shows up with a Mr T starter necklace at next tournament, you'd have to wonder...
Baller BlueSki Posted September 20, 2013 Author Baller Share Posted September 20, 2013 @Than_Bogan, That is an A-Team van. I remember it as all black with the red stripe, but online pics indicate there may have been two vans, one all black and one black and gray. Perhaps we have found the "Darren" of the '80s. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIfuaUTH9Y4
Baller GAJ0004 Posted September 21, 2013 Baller Share Posted September 21, 2013 The A Team Colonel John "Hannibal" Smith, brilliant tactician with a very unorthodox style, Lt Templeton Peck aka "The Face Man" con man, Sargent Bosko Baracus, also called B.A. for Bad Attitude. Mechanical genius and has the worst conduct record in the army. He likes to slug officers. H.M. Murdock brilliant but insane pilot who can fly everything from jets to choppers. Baller BlueSki Posted September 21, 2013 Author Baller Share Posted September 21, 2013 The coincidence is too great in my mind, this has to be the fruition of a boyhood dream. Has anyone seen his tow vehicle at the shop? There might be an A-Team van replica tucked in the back.
Baller T_C Posted September 21, 2013 Baller Share Posted September 21, 2013 The shot at the end of the vid with the van flipping over was shot in Acapulco across from Gordon's old ski site
