  1. @CnewbertPretty sure you made a good choice. I had mine replaced in December of 20219. I had the surgery at 8:30 in the morning and was walking with one crutch at 3:00. Went home at 4:30. Skied my first set 90 days later and have been pain free ever since. Now if only cancer was that easy!
  2. There was a Sangria Pro Star at Liquid Zone last spring. I think it was going to Chico. It was absolutely beautiful. It doesn't look maroon at all. It looks like Sangria!
  3. I had a total hip 12/21/2021. Skied my first set 3/22/2022. I think you could stand 6 plus hours a day after a month or so as long as you could take a few breaks every so often. Find a doc that does the anterior approach, It makes all the difference. I recommend Rebound. They are the best!!!!
  4. Keeping bad things from happening to kids is the parents responsibility not safe sport.
  5. The No Name Record at the end of July will be awesome. David out TC has been working on the site for over a year and everything is dialed! The lake skis really good!
  6. Back on topic This ski really is incredible. I only have 6 rides so far this year and the water is still below 50 but I like what I feel so far!
  7. As you can see ... the pineapple can support normal brain function which is important to me You just have to read the fine print
  8. I don't think that with make it as a theme song!
  9. Some may question the wisdom in starting the season on a new ski but I decided I was ready for a change. Been on D3 for years. I am not a good ski tester so to start off on a new ski especially with a ski as different as the Pineapple (Parson's Project ... great name by the way) was a bit of a reach. Normally it takes me ten or so sets to get comfortable at the beginning of the year so I'm ready to spend some time adjusting. First three sets I just free skied to see what it felt like. 1. When you roll it on edge you better hold on! 2. From centerline out to buoy it is fast! getting wide is automatic. 3. With the water temp 43 and the air 49 I was COLD! Fourth set I got to to lake and it was white caps! When was the last time you got to the lake with white caps and couldn't wait to ski? Thought I would lose some fillings but the ski felt rock solid. Fifth set I wanted to try to run some buoys. The water and air were still cold but oh well. 32 MPH 28 off (I'm OLD) was a bit of a rodeo. Great speed through the wakes and strong side 1,3,5, felt good but I couldn't turn off side. I was hesitant to call Nick to ask questions about set up but he his response was immediate and friendly. With the water being cold we decided to move the boots forward and the fin forward. Rain for the next few days so I won't be able to try these settings but I am looking forward to the next ride. It's good to be excited about skiing again!
  10. @skirvind sounds simple.
  11. You do not have enough surface area on the fin. It needs to be longer and possible deeper.
  12. Mens 7 podium at Western Regionals was all D3. Just sayin.
  13. That was the point I was trying to make:)
  14. Getting a session or two with a pro coach is always worth the money. Having a pro coach that you can text and send videos to whenever you want and that you stay with year after year is a whole different level. https://www.trainwithterrywinter.com/ Terry is able to build a program for your individual needs. Using the videos with the coaches eye tool and zoom conference calls allows you to really identify the problems that need to be fixed and the best method to solve them. He won't move on to the next issue until you completely fix the first one. There are pro skiers that coach but Terry is a pro coach that skis.
  15. Yea I didn't look at the score. Still amazing driving.
  16. @Chad_Scott The chart below that was even better.
  17. Sorry I mean Jeff's numbers. By the way for those of you who don't those numbers show he was dead center everywhere except he was about 1 inch toward the skier at 1 ball and about 1/2 inch away from the skier at 2. That is truly amazing driving!!!!
  18. The Surepath system is lagitt. It has made all the drivers at our lake better. After looking at Tim"s numbers we all have something to strive for!
  19. There is a simple solution to this issue. We just had the Sure Path system installed at our lake. The driver and boat judge have instant feed back from the pass just completed. The deviation from center is displayed on the screen for each buoy including the pre gates and entry gates. A green signal confirms the pass was in tolerance. Anything out of tolerance shows up in red with a beep warning. A decision can be made if a reride is mandatory while the rope is being shortened. No extra officials are needed. I don't think the average Joe can tell how good a boat path is from end coarse video without using something like splash eye. Making end coarse video available for everyone to see is a terrible idea because most people don't know what they are looking at.
  20. I have the program on my i phone using safari. It works perfect. Very cool
  21. I just finished my first live on line video coaching session with Terry Winter. Now in addition to side by side video with the coaches eye tools Terry has added Zoom conference. So you have live discussion to ask questions as you go through the video. It is next level. Another benefit to becoming a trainwithterrywinter.com member.

  23. Last time i saw them I counted 50 spaced about 4-5 seconds apart.
  24. I have seen them as well they move from west to east. I see them just before the sun comes up every morning that it is clear.
