  1. OB hit the nail on the head. As a personal trainer I can pretty much assure you that it is impossible to get maximum results working out on your own. Your brain will tell you to stop long before your muscles are fatiqued. Even using programs such as P90X will not get you the the last three reps that are required for muscle development. Unless you are working to exhaustion you will not get the results you are looking for. In addition, having a set appointment with a trainer will help keep you from finding an excuse not to work out. Even doing cardio without a plan is a waste of time. Your body adapts quickly to the loads you place on it and you need to vary time, intensity and muscle group involvement to keep improving. Find a trainer the is a skier and you will pick up bouys. My 2 cents
  2. For a full explaination of the Muhlitner Method use the search function in the top right corner for Horton's original post in October 2011. It explains the Method clearly (I think)???
  3. It may be a good time to review the "Muhlitner Method". It was a very informative post and many new ballers could benifit from it?
  4. Check out www.reflexportland.com their clinic specializes in no surgical knee rehab I was told I needed a total knee. After reflex I have been pain free for the last 18 months.
  5. When you turn in for the gates from a narrow point you have to pull long to get to the bouy line. Try getting higher on the boat and turn in from a wider point and an earlier edge change will happen.
  6. I have been using the Fluid Motion binding system since they came out around 2001. Last summer i decided to see if "new tecknology" had made the fM's obsolete. I tried just about every binging out there and pretty much wasted the whole summer. The FM bindings offer better comfort, support, control and safety than anything I tried. They have always released when they should and have saved my butt many times. Also Paul is really good to work with and offers good customer service. I know this sounds like a ad for FM but it's not just my 2 cents.
  7. K Mart sells cord tensioners in the hardware department.
  8. Is that Mint lake Mike in the back ground shoveling food?
