Baller sunperch Posted October 1, 2013 Baller Posted October 1, 2013 Has anyone else seen the new commercial?? TGas slalom skiing. That caught my attention!

Baller sunperch Posted October 1, 2013 Author Baller Posted October 1, 2013 That is not the one I saw on network TV, there was only about 10 seconds of skiing in the one I saw but was still great to see! We only have an attention span of 16.95 sec. anyway.
Baller ForrestGump Posted October 1, 2013 Baller Posted October 1, 2013 We saw the one @Wish posted while at a restaurant yesterday morning for breakfast. T-Gas is also a featured athlete on 5 Hour's website......... http://www.5hourenergy.com/raspberry/t-gas-gallery.asp
Baller MattP Posted October 2, 2013 Baller Posted October 2, 2013 Huge exposure for our sport from TGas once again. He did a stint on the Italian Dancing with the starts as well last year. He is now a house hold name in Italy how I understand it.
Baller_ Wish Posted October 2, 2013 Baller_ Posted October 2, 2013 After listening to him a little on the mic at Diablo, I thought it was funny that he put on an American accent for the 5hour En commercial. It was thick Italian at Diablo. :) And who made the vest and gloves. Very cool for the sport.
Baller jwr Posted October 2, 2013 Baller Posted October 2, 2013 Saw it several times during Monday night football
crashman Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 I like how the commercial conveys the "extremeness" of the sport- I'm still not going to drink the stuff though.
Baller ScarletArrow Posted October 3, 2013 Baller Posted October 3, 2013 The only time I drink 5hr energy is when I'm driving all night from Ohio to Orlando. I pop one at 10p.m. and another at 2 a.m. to get me through. Bless you T-gas!
Baller teammalibu Posted October 3, 2013 Baller Posted October 3, 2013 I have been sponsoring 5 hour energy for a while still waiting for my pink vest!
Baller thager Posted October 3, 2013 Baller Posted October 3, 2013 That would go nice with your pink speedo! : )
Baller RazorRoss3 Posted October 3, 2013 Baller Posted October 3, 2013 As a once one a day drinker of 5 hour energy I can attest that the stuff works pretty well for the most part and is incredibly convenient. However it has a tendency to give you a little to much to quick so that you feel jittery instead of energized. Now I only drink them when I'm on long road trips or early ski mornings.
Baller teammalibu Posted October 3, 2013 Baller Posted October 3, 2013 1/2, in the morning and 1/2, an hour before i ski in the afternoon. Much cheaper by the case! I dont drink any caffeine other wise!
Baller LeonL Posted October 3, 2013 Baller Posted October 3, 2013 The commercial that I saw, t-gas was seen skiing for only about 2 seconds or less, shocked me to see waterskiing in the commercial though. I had to rewind the DVR to be sure of what I saw.
Baller mwetskier Posted October 3, 2013 Baller Posted October 3, 2013 @RazorRoss3 -i have a skier friend who used to play in the main event of the world series of poker which is a total marathon with long hours of poker at a time and he used 5 hour energy drink by sipping a little bit every once in a while thru out each session. said he went thru may be 2 or 3 bottles a day over 12 hours of play and said it kept him up with the young guys like nothing else could.
Baller Kelvin Posted October 3, 2013 Baller Posted October 3, 2013 Kudos to T-gas for actively landing 5-Hour Energy as a non industry sponsor for himself and the sport.
Baller RazorRoss3 Posted October 3, 2013 Baller Posted October 3, 2013 @mwetskier, wow... I'm pretty sure the bottle says not to exceed 2 per day. Not like I haven't gone through three in a day over the course of a 3 round slalom tournament before but not in a few years. I make no argument to the claim that 5 hour energy wakes you up I've just personally tried to cut back a little. I do agree with the concept of not chugging the thing down, I've found half now half in a little while moderates the jittery side effect fairly well.
Baller Skoot1123 Posted October 4, 2013 Baller Posted October 4, 2013 Saw the commercial today while watching hockey. Awesome to get some press for waterskiing - even of only for a little bit. It ought to catch the eye of someone right?!
