@Mateo Vargas -the thing on that old obrien ski is a piece of foam float. awsa rules have always required a ski to float ande with the heavy double boot rubber and metal hardware it probably didn't float much if at all. back in the 70s jim salamas had a fiber glass western wood slalom with a big chunk of foam ski vest glued to the tip for the same reason.

@Edbrazil‌ I can name about half of those guys including my dad in the checkers. I'm sure somebody can do a better job of spelling names and getting it straight

I skied with Dick Kellner once with my uncle who was the Utah state slalom champion when I was a teenager. My uncle who is still a ski instructor at Alta came out with me last year and he was 76 and ran 28 off at 34 mph on his old EP 72 inch ski. I just wanted to stay in the boat after that because I am not worthy.

I really dig the red chechered suit!

O'Neill gotta jump on that pattern!

Would sell like hot breads!

What i see in this picture is the same camaraderie i have with my skiing patrners.

That has not change in waterskiing.

My ski finish in 16.95 but my ass is out of tolerance!
