How big of a difference does the "LFF" or "RFF" make with a goode?

I was talking to my friend about his N1 and discussing about weather or not the label of RFF or LFF makes a difference or it is a lot of marketing. What do you guys think

It's not marketing, because I have it on fairly good authority that they tried to get rid of it. In other words, they really wanted to make literally just one version of The One, but found that the RFF or LFF models were better for many of their test team skiers than a generic one.

 

That said, there are lots of stories of people getting on the "wrong" one and liking it anyhow. So I suspect it's just one more variable that depends on your ski style how it works in practice.

So, there are no more Goode Fire's anymore. I don't think those were LFF or RFF. Sad to see those gone. Such a good price point.

Just got some info that the RFF vs. LFF is a much bigger difference on the XT series, because the actual shape of the ski is different with the assymetric rocker (as opposed to just a difference in the way the internals are laid up).

 

So using the "wrong" one may not work with the XT and later.

I think there is a difference but I did watch April Coble run 2@39 on the wrong foot Nano 1 first time on it. Most of us can't ski like her though.

Goode skiers have posted impresive results recently, April 1@41, Dave 5@41, Jay 4@41(?), Chad 3@41. Does anybody know if any of these scores have been set on the new skis (XTT, XTM, XTW)?

In July April was still skiing on the Nano 1 and from pictures I have seen recently I don't think that has changed.
