Vapor vs Strada Boots

Can anyone elaborate what the new Vapor boots react like vs. the older Strada boots?

I have 2 sets of Stradas and rotate them, so they are in good shape, but wondering if the Vapors add anything to the equation.

Might be needing a Christmas present idea for my wife..

They're green :wink: I originally thought they were stiffer, but now I just think my Strada boots were wearing.

2015 vapors have removable "lateral stiffeners" in the liners.

I can't tell if my stradas are wearing or if the vapors are stiffer as well

I know one of my sets is a little "softer" than the other. Not sure if that is bad or good.

I ordered my green Vapor boot this morning from Miami Nautique. They have the '14 marked down now. Can't wait to try them out.

The vapors are a little stiffer

I believe the new lateral stiffeners in the Vapors are removable, and that when removed, the remaining hard plastic "wrap" is the same as it was in the Stradas. So you have a choice between having the same flex as the Stradas, or even more lateral support.
