Baller LLUSA Posted July 7, 2015 Baller Share Posted July 7, 2015 One Water Marine Holdings acquires Rambo Marine Boating Industry July 7, 2015 Filed under News ATLANTA – OneWater Marine Holdings, LLC, announced today that they have made a new partnership with Rambo Marine, a Boating Industry Top 100 dealer with locations in Huntsville and Birmingham, Ala. The dealership will continue to operate using its current name, location and personnel and offer Cobalt and Marker One pontoons at both locations, while also introducing those brands to the Singleton Marine location on Smith Lake, which opened in April of this year. “We’re thrilled to join an aggressive and growing organization like OneWater Marine,” said Scooter Rambo, founder and former owner of Rambo Marine. “This opportunity allows us to leverage the business our family has spent the last 28 years building as a springboard for us to introduce some exciting new opportunities to our loyal employees and amazing customers. Our customers will greatly benefit from us being a part of a larger organization that has broader reach and more centralized back-office resources; all while still operating and maintaining the family and local feel that our employees will continue to deliver. I’m really excited that our customers get to experience this with us.” Rambo will continue to operate the dealership as a division of OneWater Marine Holdings, and his son Bennett Rambo will manage the Birmingham and Hazel Green locations as well as the Smith Lake Singleton location. “Scooter opened Rambo Marine in Hazel Green the same year my family opened Singleton Marine just south of them on Lake Martin. For 28 years, our families have operated dealerships in adjacent territories and I’ve always looked up to and admired Scooter and the business he’s built over the last three decades,” said Austin Singleton, CEO of OneWater Marine Holdings. “Rambo Marine is a perfect complement to our existing portfolio of dealerships and represents a natural geographic expansion for us into the Northern parts of Alabama and southern Tennessee.” Rambo Marine is among a number of acquisitions made by OneWater Marine Holdings, which was formed with the merger of Singleton Marine and Legendary Marine, since its inception last year. OneWater Marine Holdings acquired Captain’s Choice Marine in June and American Boat Brokers in April

east tx skier
When I owned my MasterCraft, they were my go-to place for parts, especially the hard to find stuff. Lex, in the parts department is the nicest guy you can imagine talking to, and often went out of his way for me when I had a weird request. Baller chris_logan Posted July 9, 2015 Baller Share Posted July 9, 2015 +1 on Lex being one of the best MC parts gurus, both in personality and level of knowledge. It should be interesting during the transition to see who stays and who leaves.
Tyler_R
It's sad to see change, but you never know what may come out of this. And to second @chris_logan 's comment, if it's a MasterCraft part Lex can find it and describe the wiring diagram to you from memory.
