Wiley trick rap

Hey guys, this ain't really a discussion, but does any body use a wily trick rap? I just put a regular Wiley on my trick ski,and I have to use something to tighten it. Thoughts? Anybody got any for sale?

I used the trick wrap on my slalom ski for 5 years. Much better support compared to the high wrap.

I used to use trick wraps on my slalom before going to hard shells. IMO they are the best rubber binding design out there.

 

But for a trick ski, the trick wrap is second best. If you are buying a new binding for a trick ski do yourself a favor and get a reflex.

@Bruce_Butterfield Just received a pro build binding for my new ski. Now I'm wondering if I should have got the trick wrap... How much more support is there on the trick wrap? How about comfort and ease of putting on?

@supersonicus depending on your level, the Wiley pro wrap should be fine (Jeff Rodgers still uses it), but amount of support is largely individual preference. Give it a try as is and if you think you want more support Wiley's is really good with customer service and will swap the overlay for a reasonable charge.

 

I'm a tad anal about my feet not moving around and use to make my own Frankenstein version of the trick wrap with extra thick rubber on the overlays, then duck tape around both ankles for additional support.

A replacement overlay from Wiley's is $20 from Perfski. Very reasonable.

I have a Wiley's trick wrap. It has been a good binding for 15 seasons. I have replaced 2 overlays over the years. If you order one from Wileys, they can adjust how tight it is for your personal preference.

So does the wiley trick wrap give you more foothold than the standard slalom warp? How is it compared to the HO Animal?
