At 6'2" 170 the large is a pretty good fit. The sleeves are much to short, but that's kind of a feature.

My guess for you would be medium, because you want it tiiight. But to get the best possible advice contact @waterskigirl either via PM here or by starting from robbysskipshop.com.

I have the titanium top but have never tried the blacktec. I really like the titanium version. However, I think the key to its success is for it to be very snug so that it doesn't let much water in. Fortunately, the material is very stretchy, so even when it is quite tight it is still comfortable and allows free movement.

I just picked up one of the new Blacktech Skin 1.5 tops. It's amazingly warm and stretchy, just like everything else they make. I also bought one of their Titanium 3mm full suits but won't get to try it for a couple months. I'll report back if someone is interested.

I just bought a medium blacktec 1.5 top. I am 5'11" and 145 lbs.

The arms and waist fit nicely. The midsection is not form fitting on me - it is too loose. All the length's are perfect, but the mid section is too large to fit super tight. Not sure if I should have bought a small or not. :/

FYI-REI titanium tops that are on sale and not what the other guys on this thread are talking about they are very different that is why they are less $$$$, not bad just different. I used to carry those people had issues with the waist being too big, if you have issues with the Modetec or Blacktec being a little wide at the waist the Titanium are crazy wide. So, Titanium is not Blacktec or Modetec 3 completely different products... Hope that helps clear any confusion...

Than, you are not wrong...Camaro uses the word way "Titanium" too randomly in my opinion...

Titanium products tops, shorts, tanks, farmer johns, gloves and long pants that say Titanium on the front are the 2mm reversible, black neo on one side silver on the other less form fitting than the Blacktec and Modetec. Modetec has a titanium "coating" hence some of the confusion, REI is calling the suit they are selling Titanium when it is actually the Modetec. They are .5mm and Titanium is the exterior coating and those are old 2014 suits truly not are warm as the Blacktec. Really depends on your climate and use... My opinion is Modetec is great for early spring, fall and cool nights and mornings in summer in the cooler climates, the southern USA anytime (ie Florida) and those who never get cold. Blacktec would be better suited for the rest, then we could get into which mm Blacktec would be best, but I will leave that for another time.

Again trying to clear some confusion, hopefully not add to it! One last thought... that is a common mention through these Camaro posts the waist in the tops is often where they run big, you can avoid that by sizing down or buying a shorty or full suit where it does not matter as much... Whew, sorry so long winded...

I think the top REI is selling that WBLskier mentioned above is the 2mm just as waterskigirl described above. I have that same top with black on one side and silver on the other and it has the exact same graphic shown in the REI picture. Mine is definitely 2mm and the top described on the REI site says it is 2mm. Anyway, I agree with the statement that this top is a bit too wide at the waist, but that is my only complaint.

I ordered the XXL off the special and just returned it. I wasn't crazy about the way it fit and the arms were longer than I liked. The XL might have been a better fit but I decided I was okay with the heater top I have and can wait to get a latest edition Camaro next time.

Everyone needs to understand that these are not your standard wetsuit. They are remarkably warm but very fragile. Even being very careful I still have to seam seal were my short fingernails cause minor surface tears. Still never going back to my drysuit (that leaks) as the Camaro is warmer. Also have to agree with the comment that not all camaros are equal. A guy at our lake got one of the "cheaper" thicker Camaro and it was much more like a normal wetsuit. It was more restrictive and was not as warm, sent it back and got one of @waterskigirl style. I have to thank @Chuck_Dickey for introducing these to me and @Horton for supporting it with a real world review. Never would have purchased since it hard to understand the effectiveness of these suits until you try one.
