Wakeye with DSLR

Is anyone here using the Wakeye with a DSLR or other heavy camera? It seams most use their phones for recording video. I am looking to get a good camera mount, but I want to be able to use my existing DSLR camera with it.

 

Any first hand experiences would be wonderful.

For a heavy camera, I'd use an older Trakker . you can put just about anything on them, heavy cast parts and full sized tripod head.

Are those still for sale? I thought they stopped selling those.

You can still find them around, but I don't think the company is still in business.

I have one I would sell you it is just collecting dust in my basement.

I use one with an ipad. Works good enough to be embarrassing!
