I've skiing 4 different skis of the same brand but different shapes/ year/ models, all seemed very familiar and when I flex tested them all numbers where very close.

I also flex tested 3 skis of the same model/size/year/color and the two where almost identical and the third was way off and a lot stiffer at 33"-41", I believe that that was not a good thing.

So I want to know what is your thoughts, experience on this.

Flex and torsional stability is more difficult to predict and obtain, whereas shape is a factor which very easy to change.

So logically flex is more important.

@Horton you are right but English is not my native language and I'm trying hard to express my thoughts, not saying to go soft on me B)

I have ridden softer skis that felt fast and carried a lot of speed. Obviously bevel, rocker, flat spot etc all play important part. A round bevel ski that sits high in the water and go fast from side to side might need to be softer than a deep ridding turning machine
